I also, spent some time, living at Suffolk UK ) not that far from the RAF/ USAF airbase at lakenheath . In the 1980's And remember seeing many" American car's, driving around that belonged to airbase personnel. I sometimes go back to visit the sounding area's and there's still a few old 1970's American car's that can be seen around that had been sold off year's, ago when the owners returned to the USA and didn't bother to take the car's with them I presume. I believe there's, also a American classic car following in the Suffolk area . Going by the classified adverts & classic car's show scene. I myself have owned many classic car's for 35 years, and I'd like to buy a American car from the 1970's or early 80s. I did see a 70's kojak style Buick for sale last year. But it had been sitting for ages and needed lot's of work to get it back on the road.
