@@lauritzlund-iversen2703 Thanks😃 Yup, it's fun to test out different concepts. The same post production process every time gets a bit boring in the long run. Tail shot! Ha, yes, I was a little surprised, I must admit. Just had to roll the dice and leave it to fate😅 Had no idea. But what a nice place. Lots of nice spots out there

@@hesalovelybuoy5944 Visibility in the water is usually quite good here, but not around spring/early summer. The west and north of Norway in particular have good visibility in the water. Don't you have periods when the visibility in the water varies?

Buddy this is amazing. I really want to get in spear fishing, it's just that in Newfoundland the water it's really rough, and cod it's to be found in deep water. Anyway very cool video, I wish you good luck.

@@newfoundlandscenery3568 Thanks for your support🙏 Glad to have you here on my channel. I understand what you mean. Not completely safe coast to dive. It is a pity. Looks like an exciting place to dive. I saw how you had to climb down the steep areas in your vid. on your channel too. Rough that area of yours. The cod you filmed was chasing herring. Therefore it went shallow? Too bad that the cod is into to deep water.

No,you'll never see cod in less then 20 m deep. But their ar in the millions. Newfoundland used to have the biggest cod stuck of cod in the world. It was over fish,and it recovering now. the water here it's very clean (25-30 m visibility easy)so if you ever think coming here to try some spearfishing...don't hesitate to let me know, I know all the good spots:)

@@newfoundlandscenery3568 25-30m visibility in the water is insane. We have it here too. but it's in the winter when the temperature is 😱 Absolutely! Been to Canada before. But no spearfishing that time. So who knows. Same for you too👍 Always perfect with a bit of local knowledge

@@HumfredAkama Thanks Humfred😊 From May to September. Warmer water. Hottest temp. is July/August (mid summer) Visibility in the water is poor due to algae in the sea. This applies especially to the spring months. From October to April. Cold water. But visibility is considerably better. Especially in the west and north of the country.

I have respect for killer whales. Had a break from diving. Ate some food on land. Then they came swimming past us. Cool observation. I couldn't believe my eyes. Fun to see them from land. Now I'm waiting for the day I meet the whole herd in the water. They are around us all the time. Feels inevitable. Because I'd rather not. But! You know how it works. When there's something you don't want to happen😅 Maybe it will be an experience of a lifetime🤿

@@LousOutdoorOdyssey Thanks Lous😃 GoPro7 as head strap and all handheld shots are GoPro 10. Post production; DaVinci Resolve. Plus. We had good visibility in the water and the sun was high in the sky that day👍

@@Moutaz.Altrabulsi Thanks Moutaz😊 Stockholm. Thats 1000km from where I live! But if you're going to drive that far, don't come here. Then you must experience Hitra. Hitra is a diving paradise🤿🐟 There are groups of people who travel there every autumn. Oslo fridykker klubb. They travel everywhere for freediving/spearfishing. I would recommend you contact the club and check it out 👍

Thanks🙂 Thats awesome. But it's a 9 hour drive from Florø to you😮 I drive 3 hours south to dive at Mjømna. Otherwise, I would have liked to meet you for diving. You live close to Hitra. A diving paradise 🐟

Hjemmelaget fiskekaker yes... I used to fish from a boat near Bergen in Matrefjord. Catched big fishes there many times 😊 (Cod especially) I always wonder how it looked like underneath, and now i know. I never saw anyone spearfishing there, maybe it isn't allowed in that fjord because of many salmonfarms there? Anyway, thanks for the video!

The Matrefjord is exciting. Sea bass spawn in that fjord. I think it is legal to conduct underwater hunting there except around the outlet of that waterfall. I have fished farmed salmon from land there. Many nice places north of Bergen. Mjømna is just one of them😊 Thanks for comment👍
