Awesome! Are you using a milling bit, or a split point conical drill bit for your pivot and scale holes? It looked like a drill bit in the chuck, but the holes had flat bottoms on the reassembly. ?

Great job! I really love spalted maple. Last fall I was cutting firewood. I cut through a maple tree with a chainsaw and realized it was spalted. I called a neighbor down the road who is a woodworker and let him know what I found. He was more than excited and came up and got the whole tree for some of his projects.

That knife could be one of the last 57 that Civivi has released. The extreme belly blade design isn't useful for many EDC tasks. Not impressed.
