Agree that it's so calm. But still, it's a very clever arrangement for an overture. It still feels like what an overture is supposed to be. Just feel that the ending could be more grand.

The starting first note is a mess.... Woodwinds is strong. Snare still too hard, need lighter touch.... Overall is OK...

I like this version a lot, dramatic enough with its punches and doesn't feel rushed... Very moving to listen... 😍 Only flaw is in the volume control, but not sure if that is due to the recording...
