A lot of Americans think they have Native American and they can pick it up on dna tests but most Americans do not have Native American so obviously family history is not correct. If your grandmother was 100% Native American that would be obvious in phenotype. Your mother would look Native American if she is 50% and also you should get about 25% Native American which should show in phenotype also. Nearly every American expects to have Native American which wouldn't make sense numerically because Europeans and Africans outnumbered greatly Native Americans anyway. Anyway get your mother tested and see if any shows up but Grandparent was obviously not fully NA because you would definitely inherit approx 25% if that was the case.

Thank you so much! I can only go by what my mom says. I would think they would try to not show how much Native American you are on DNA tests due to money reasons and land and all that it entails. Either way, I’m unsure if I trust the lil DNA tests at it is but it was something fun to do. Maybe we all can get one done by a credited source and see what we are really made up of… Thank you so much!

@@RaisingNine There are plenty of people getting Native American on dna tests. Nearly every Latin American gets good amounts of Native American. Also I've seen some Native American results from indigenous people in the US. I don't think dna testing companies have any reason to not show Native American in people. DNA testing companies have nothing to do with the US Government or funding for Native Americans. Also you can download your dna and get independent geneticists to look at it or upload to other sites.

Hey Mrs. Penny! Thats great news. I’m proud of her as well as her husband for stepping up to serve his country along side your granddaughter. I think it’s safe to say they both are starting their early adult life down the right path and setting their future up for success. We all have been kind of busy. I’ve been working out of town since early April so I’m only home 6 days out of the month. I’m always gone a lot so that also explains us not being as available but no excuses we need to do better as well. The kids are all doing well. We still love and appreciate you and we hope you are doing well. Thanks for checking in 💪🏼💯
