Yeah, only thing it did was pushed the rod end onto the camber link, and I might have a very small bend in the driveshaft but if it does it's not enough to even worry about

Yeah it really does, all I did was tune the esc, I think it already has a 23 tooth pinion gear, 8mm shaft so it runs good, my reepers still quicker and more violent with the power but this is so stable lol

Still getting use to it, the jump doesn't have a gradual arch so it kind of sends it funny, plus I made the mistake of turning the avc on when the steering was acting screwy

@@KalsRcAdventures yeah I definitely know that now, the dual rate part confused me, thought I had my steering turned down all the way, not sure why it wasn't working right for a few minutes

Yeah, the only weakness is my 3d printed hubs now, I'm redesigning it

Honestly it's hard to say, that 4082 is pretty capable, I know a couple guys who run 8s on stock motors with a max6 or max5 ESC all day long, a good fan and 1 person I know had tried killing it for over 2 years and it was still kicking when he last used the motor, I'm running 6s, I know it's got loads of power, a good video of you want to see how it does is my cheap tire test video, best non belted tires I've ran and didn't expect it

Thanks, it took me most of the night, my housings didn't want to go together at first and it took a little trial and error. I'm really looking forward to running it again soon but it's too wet around here right now

From what I can tell it's the ring and pinion on my rear diff plastic housings allowing flex and my diff bearings seemed worn, I just got the last part to upgrade at least my rear today, if you're in the reeper Facebook group I just posted about it

@@johnnysrcchannel7472 I'm going to try doing a video of the build but no promises, I put a part list of almost the entire diff upgrade but it's missing a few parts due to lack of part number on the CEN site

Yeah, it needs a few minor upgrades but its a tough truck, i didnt think my 1 piece knuckle would last and im thinking i forgot to loctite the diff bolts and that's my issue, but i do want some alloy housings

The knuckle i expected but this diff is something else, and snapped 1 side of the driveshaft pin too

Yeah, i love driving it, i 3d printed wing mounts but the hex holes were a little small but i made it work, in one piece again

I have to revise it, the ones made arent strong enough at the hingepins, will post a video soon showing that result, im going to go larger at the hingepins and wider to give more strength

Thanks for the support, yeah its definitely beneficial, i hate the 2 piece design the reeper comes with, while i get the function of having all 4 corners being the same its the issue of bump steer and the spindles broke often for me, so even if this does break i will have a printer in today so i will make some with more infill and if it comes down to it some cnc places use stl files for production, maybe someone like m2c doing some 7075 aluminum

Yeah, i noticed a difference right away when i was pulling it apart and putting the 1 piece knuckles on, one inner bearing seat isnt perfect so its got a little play but it is what it is, still less play than stock

Thanks man, i just got to get that center diff figured out, thought it was the rear going out again but it waited a minute or 2 to make noise then went again, so i pulled the diff out and its already got a few bolts loose on the spur gear, im really hoping i can make some game changing parts for this truck soon, i got a 3d printer on the way in the mail

@@norcalrc first thing is i need to locate some longer drivshafts that will be usable so i can get the correct arm length and ill design and print longer arms to fit giving this a wider stance, biggest thing is getting my hands on some. Also im starting to design my own chassis. Thinking 1/5 with modular parts so they can be changed out to different diff sizes, but im going to have to print in sections for now because of 3d printer limitations. Then if 3d printed i cant make strong enough the cad program i have is linked for a company that can do injection molds and cnc work

Also i think i need a new camera, the jumps in footage isnt editing and shouldnt be pausing

Yeah, it for some reason kept vearing off, i noticed my steering was as centered as usual, kept having to play with steering trim, and my servo saver is definitely loose. But yeah definitely 53mph is awesome, i just think it has a little more in it if i can keep it straight. But now i have to investigate my diffs again, somethings wrong with either the center pilots or my rear again. Has to be the plastic diff housing flexing

I had someone tell me when i suggested a size comparison between this and the new fireteam claim the fireteam would crush it, stating its faster and tougher and stuff, the fireteam might be s bit faster because of the platform but if if someone spent the same amount on the 2 vehicles like say 1000 or 1100 including the cost of the vehicles id put the reeper against it any day of the week, shocks and servo are its biggest let down, besides that just going alloy on a few of the plastic parts and maybe spend 120ish to upgrade diffs and it take a fireteam on durability even with both modded in my opinion

@@restinpiecesrc5528 believe me, I know a lot about most rc’s even if I don’t own one. The fire team is a 550$ car for 750$ it needs beefing up out of the box. All rc’s will have there weak points. Drive what you like, and I’ve made the mistake of putting tons of money into a car I wasn’t in love with. Keep Rockin the Reeper and have fun. The more you get to know the car, you keep modding the weak points until it’s almost indestructible. I’ve only mastered that level with a few cars. Love the videos! You rock!!!!!!!👊🍺🍺🍻

Theyre 649 and 700 or 705 for American force, unless you want that body and tires specifically i recommend the first version and jusr buy 25 dollar adjustable battert tray

Yeah, its the tires slip on grass and loose dirt, its the lack of ballooning, they cant expand to dig in so it slips alot, non belted tires dig in but the front ends in the air

Stock tires get good traction and taller so im just going to run them until i can affors to do something else
