Do you think someone who is 6'2" with a 32" inseam would fit nicely on this bike? I travel a lot for work and was considering using something like this, my job is essentially drive 10-15 miles, stop in a designated building for 5-10 minutes to check on medical patients, then onto the ride to next building.
@Moetorcycles21 сағат бұрын
Yeah you’ll definitely fit. The seat height is 31in so you’ll be able to comfortable flat foot, but shouldn’t be too scrunched up. And for what you’re using for it’ll do fine. I’d recommend sitting on one first if you can of course
@Moetorcycles21 сағат бұрын
Also what do you do for work? Sounds cool
@FitnessXSportss19 сағат бұрын
@ Basically a step below a traveling nurse of sorts, just checking in and providing any basic care that patients need. I have sat on this bike before and out of the 650cc class, actually this one fit the best, I really liked how my legs gripped the tank. The same day I sat on a MT-07, ninja 500/650, cfmoto 475, and a few bigger ones as well. But I really like how the honda fit. My worry is that if I do an extended route on it that I won't be able to. Most reviewers I'm seeing say that only are able to go about an hour on it before needing a break, while others claim multiple hours. But honestly I think a comfort seat with clip-on risers might alleviate any issues if there is any.
@Moetorcycles6 сағат бұрын
Gotcha, that’s cool! I think you’ll be fine with the cbr650 honestly, I feel like I can go for hours on it. It’s a great hike and definitely more comfortable than supersports.

I have Navi as well, I am thinking of doing this upgrade to the 19 mm carburetor. I’m wondering if I buy the carb separately, where do I get the curved air intake hose ? I was thinking of buying a nibbi carb ? Would I need to buy a different main jet and pilot jet or do they come with certain size jets ?
@Moetorcycles2 күн бұрын
All the links for everything you need to do this mod are in the description. The video shows a step by step of how to install it and covers everything
@flyinphil422 күн бұрын
@@Moetorcyclesl checked but doesn’t seem to be any link to the curved pipe for the intake sold as a stand alone item. In the video it appears to be a blue intake pipe. The scooter swap shop has one , but only sold as a kit which cost $300 . Amazon doesn’t have it, can I just pick one up at a hardware store or do?
@Moetorcycles2 күн бұрын
Sorry I don’t see the blue tube you’re referring to. If you’re referring to the tube between the air filter and the carb, any 48mm silicone hose will work. You can also install the filter directly to the carb without a hose.

5:10 I’ve had that happen a couple of times now when starting to accelerate a little aggressively. it was in between gears. Would you say it’s due to not being as firmly with the shift pedal or just a quirk? Overall I love the bike just don’t want that to be a constant thing.
@Moetorcycles9 күн бұрын
I think it’s a bit of both, but mostly not being firm with the shift pedal. I only notice it when I don’t shift firmly enough. One time my boot caught the shift lever and barely pulled it up and the same thing happened. Glad to hear you’re loving the bike too! Safe riding

I’m interested to see how Honda rolls it out to other models. There are rumors of a 400cc inline4 competitor to the Zx4rr that might have eclutch. That’d be awesome imo. But again just rumors so far, we’ll see
@Wellimanewguy12 күн бұрын
lol @ editing out every single time he sets off with the manual clutch and full on blowing past a stop sign because he didn't want to show how bad he is at it. What do you do when you need to maneuver around at really low speeds, in parking lots and such? Get off and push? Let the bike drop itself to the ground? Clutch control is a *very* important part of riding a motorcycle to me, and this seems like it's only a crutch for someone who doesn't want to bother learning.
@Moetorcycles12 күн бұрын
I knew I’d get this comment lol first, I’ve ridden and ride other bikes without eclutch or quickshifter. There’s a video on my channel of my first ride on the 25 r3, no quickshifter. Second, why fully stop at a stop sign when no other cars are present? We don’t do that here lol Third, there was only one take off from a full stop in that whole manual mode clip and I cut it out because I was talking about something that I ended up not including in the video. I’ll have a full video up of just riding in the manual mode soon to give a full review on it. Feel free to critique that one for me. Always open to improving. To answer your other questions, all of those situations can be easily handled by the eclutch. It’s pretty impressive. But it is smoother to manually use the clutch for them. I’ve done and do both based on the situation. Thanks for watching!
@Wellimanewguy12 күн бұрын
@@Moetorcycles This is a way better response than I was expecting! I'm actually pretty interested to see the low speed performance, that's the major thing I've been skeptical with on these. If that first gear isn't geared right there's a lot of potential for a horrible experience. The fact you can just grab the clutch and operate it normally at any time almost seems necessary to me, so I give honda a huge plus for including that feature. I've never heard of traffic-contingent stop signs though, that's a new one lol. We have a thing for that where I live, it's called a yield sign. Or a blinking yellow light.
@Moetorcycles12 күн бұрын
They’ve done a great job with it imo. I can do pretty much anything without using the clutch. In that upcoming video I mentioned I’ll include back to back comparisons of the same maneuvers to show the slight difference in smoothness. Also clarification on the stop signs, I gave kind of a smart answer but legally I have to stop haha I don’t want to spread misinformation. If a cop saw me and wanted to ticket me he could. But we call these “California stops”, most of us here just roll through if there’s no other cars. I’ve watched cops not even bat an eye at people doing it, I’ve also seen people get ticketed for it. Don’t want people thinking they’re legally optional hahaha

Best video I've seen on the in and outs of the e-clutch! Honda needs to promote this video to dispel the insane amount of incorrect information about this system.
@Moetorcycles12 күн бұрын
This means a lot, thanks!
@lpbayliss13 күн бұрын
I've heard that the gear changes aren't as quick as a quickshifter, but they seem pretty quick from your video. As someone almost exclusively does sport riding and track days, would you say the e-clutch is fine or would it be better to go with the non e-clutch and get a quickershifter installed?
@dhess3413 күн бұрын
One of the big channels (MCN?) did a midnight comparison, and they said you're giving up a few tenths to 60 with the e-clutch. For 98% of people that's not noticeable, but if you're a track addict those tenths may matter.
@Moetorcycles12 күн бұрын
Great question. Personally, the eclutch seems faster than a quickshifter and Honda released documentation showing that the shifts themselves are indeed faster. I wasn’t aware people were under the impression it wasn’t as fast until now.
@Moetorcycles12 күн бұрын
@dhess34 Honda released info showing the shifts with eclutch are faster than shifts with a quickshifter. I’ll have to check out the video you’re referring to. Definitely important for track

Great vid man. I love the looks of these bikes, love the sound, and I’m a bigger rider but sure the ergos would be very fine, but personally, I’d have to take a last gen ninja 650 or one of the older cbr500s before I bought up one of these. Cool tech, but the more tech something has the more opportunity for stuff to go wrong.
@Moetorcycles13 күн бұрын
Thank you! That’s a fair take. Personally, I like tech, and I’m not afraid to be a “first user” for a lot of it. The eclutch is a pretty simple mechanism and Hondas been working on it for 12 years. This bike is far superior to a ninja 650 or cbr500, even with the risk of the tech failing id take it over those bikes every time. But that raises the question, if it’s just a tech thing, why not look at a last gen cbr650r (without eclutch) before going with a last gen ninja 650 or cbr500?
@Mikeongaia13 күн бұрын
@ interesting question. It comes down to me as a rider. Alot of it is ergos. The Honda produces more power I believe on paper but real world the kawi is a more “manageable” power curve (arguably). Basically you can ride it harder. lol. Plus parts go all the way back to the 80s a lot of the time. It’s kinda like owning a Chevy pickup instead of a ford (from a guy that owns 2 fords and a dodge atm). Having said that, my coworker had a cbr500 back in the day, and for a 500 it was pretty much imho the “perfect bike” (hate that kinda language). Those are the 2 similar in class I could be slightly biased because when push came to shove I bought the ninja before and would do it again if they were cheaper. In truth I’ve had several bikes from concourse 1000 all the way down to the navi I own now and each has its strong suits. I currently daily an 06 ninja250 (well I put it out to replace a brake light switch when it comes in tomorrow), and I couldn’t be happier because it’s kind of the Swiss Army knife of the moto world and it’s cheap cheap to keep going.
@Moetorcycles12 күн бұрын
Valid. Can definitely ride those bikes harder more often. Smaller cc bikes make for better daily’s anyways imo
