None of us deserve to be at the table, but are there because of Christs forgiveness. That doesnt mean we should be disrespectfjl, though

really enjoyed this… Your comments about the ‘embarrassment’ of the doctrine for multi faith dialogue purposes struck me after a long discussion about it with Muslim men at last weeks Free Palestine rally. Love the hospitality frame… and that’s where i went with it… beauty, mystery etc but also the idea that if God is LOVE that relation-ality within God really matters and that’s not abstract… to my mind at least…

Thanks! Glad it spoke to you, always aware that I could be interweaving everything or I could just be trying to talk about too many things. Glad the crafting was effective

Salvation as restoration is Biblical. But I'm afraid I cannot abide Christians who push Jesus onto others and ignore others' plight.

I agree. But I think we have to take opportunities to make connections. That's what breaks down sectarianism.

Your "Christ" is god, no? Isn't that what the trinity doctrine says? He himself also said "When you see me, you've seen God." Well, "God" was the guy who ordered genocides against communities for the crime of not worshipping him. He's the one whose choices include worship or get tossed into an eternal conscious torment. I'm seeing that as absolutely violence and fear by a "god" who could have set things up any way he wanted. And being "god" your "vulnerable Christ child was inextricably in on it. And riddle me this: Why did Jesus' family have to flee, across an open frontier alone, to a country not known for warm feelings toward Hebrews, but somehow John (later "the Baptist") who was only 6 months older somehow stayed put and survived Herod's thugs? I bet you never even thought of that before. HIS family didn't get the message to leave out to save the prophet of the "Christ" but somehow he didn't get murdered when they came for all the little kids. Hmm........ And so far as any "Insurrection" *the FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION determined it NOT to be an insurrection* so your data is woefully inadequate. You are peddling LIES in direction violation of a commandment, dude. Better fess up before YOU are the next one murdered by your loving compassionate "God."

Meaning of life Pain gets us up in the morning. Cruelty gets us to fight. Fear of death gets us to think. Motivation is all life is. If we didn't have pain we would do anything.

Intelligence denotes ignorant because you have to think to know something. If God is intelligence then IT can't know everything.
