Loved walking with you but as you probs already know by now, the B in StaBe is pronounced in German as a double S, so Strasse and not Strabe with a b as we would say in English. So mispronunciation was an issue for me throughout.

If you don’t understand and find the village names, it’s normal. Many of them are wrong (e.g. it’s not « Yak Khahi » but « Yak Karka »)
@taleibarber3110Ай бұрын
I find it a bit uncomfortable that you think it's ok to not pay for accomodation, if you eat. These people are so poor, desperation makes the rules. Just pay the rate. On my walk I paid the rate, plus the food. If you can't do that, don't go.
@travelingbutlerАй бұрын
When visiting multiple lodges to compare and contrast the different the available rooms in a given village, the owners of these lodges gave us those prices. We did not try to barter, and of course we ate both dinner and breakfast at each tea house we stayed at.

informative video however confused as to why there are so many irritating movie clips.
@travelingbutlerАй бұрын
Um… I make these videos for fun in my spare time. The only way I’m going to do it is by randomly putting ridiculous clips into the video that follows the message or a theme to make me laugh.

My partner and I want to do this trek! Is a guide required to get a TIMS? I’ve heard so many contrasting things, as a guide is now mandatory but nobody has been enforcing it.
@travelingbutler2 ай бұрын
I have no idea if it is enforced or not. There were 3 spots I remember they checked our permit, so yeah
@justas_hikes2 ай бұрын
The law hasn’t been enforced yet, so you can still hike ACT without a guide. Only the ACAP permit is required, no TIMS card needed, if you hike alone.
