Thanks for your nice and relevant comments! In most cases, chicken wings are definitely an issue with generating poor contact but there are exceptions as Jordan Spieth has certainly done quite well with his (especially with short game). Yes, I've been planning a video for dealing with chicken wings and I'll have it done in December. I'll let you know when I publish it. Much appreciated! Brinson

Great content. I couldn't agree with you more. When I started concentrating on keeping the pressure to the inside of my trail foot and taking a shorter backswing, my ball striking became a lot better and much more consistent.

Excellent video. I was a hinge and hold player for years and liken it to hitting cut shots in the full swing. I moved to a more trailhand player a few years ago and never looked back. Even in the full swing. It's a power move and has me hitting draws off the tee. The trick is finding the balance. You can certainly over do it.

Hinge and hold require acceleration through the ball, which may not be proper for beginners and intermediate golfers
