Gypsum is a mineral mined in the southwestern United States, its chemical name is Calcium Sulfate. Due to the fire resistance of the inert compound, it is used as a building material. Gypsum Wallboard consists of gypsum pressed between two layers of paper, usually 5/8” inches thick. Gypsum Wallboard replaced Plaster as the material for wall and ceiling construction in the United States in the 1950’s. The boards are usually 8 feet tall by 4 feet wide. Nails were used in the past but all construction is done with screws now.

Got the backends of Glen Head and Sea Cliff,via the scenic route!! Very interesting tour,and all on a Sunday afternoon! Rough estimate on mileage- 7or 8! Not shabby! Happy Easter! Average speed- 15 MPH,again not shabby!! Nice exercise!! Thank you 😇 😊!

Thank you for the compliment! This is only possible through the use of Honeycomb Polypropylene. Many years ago we tried Kevlar which was incredibly expensive, and a little test marketing revealed that people weren’t willing to pay extra. Mellisa convinced me to switch to fiberglass in 1991 and use the money to keep our company running . Honeycomb Polypropylene wasn’t even invented until 2018, and it is much superior to the corrugated variety of polypropylene, having 60° symmetry (reinforcing ridges running in three directions) vs 180° symmetry ,with ridges only one direction and could crease easily when turned 90°. A solar panel has arrived and will be the new roof, providing 150 watts

The old rule,if it ain't broke,don't fix it,should apply,but it doesn't! Souzi did so much damage,and we are paying the price,ten times over! It would have been nice,if Souzi had to take the bus to Mineola every day,and deal with late arrivals,cancelations,and other problems that transit users,dealt with daily,but one can dream! It was 409 yes, I believe the other pace video the other day was also 409. Same consist consistently! I did not go to the Oyster Fest this year. Saturday was rained out. The police shut down West Shore Road, people were complaining that there was no place to park.

For the record, the Fiberglass Cargo Platform was installed 10 years ago. I held off on painting the Fiberglass until the anti-sway bolsters were welded in (last week).
