I previously film that 9kj in that place. But it’s a shame they aren’t common yet that’s why it’s hard to find the 9kj elsewhere at the moment.

You ruined an elevator, now someone needs to go to the machine room if there is one and reset the controller, damn.
@elevatorsfromsydney35 ай бұрын
For what you said, this answer could depend on what logic the lift runs on; for example, some generic logic will stop working and not be responsive until reset, like what you said. But this one is not entirely the case here; for a newer lift like this (i.e a Kone MonoSpace or a Schindler 5500) they will simply not glitch out and be unresponsive. Instead the logic resets itself (or takes itseld out of service) carries on like normal like what happened here. Some parts may be off camera though, you would see the OOS sign disappear after performed and then it will go back into service and move at its normal speed. Kone however takes it differently, on safety break it will show the same thing (OUT OF SERVICE) but then will try to find position by moving slowly to a floor. I have not broken the lift whatsoever, but this one is actually MRL. Well according to yourcomment, this does not have an MR as it’s quite new. Yeah, just pointing it all out for you in case you got things wrong.

I don't do safety brakes anymore because I don't want to do major damage. The max thing I do is push the stop button while the lift is moving (if it has one) and do it
@elevatorsfromsydney35 ай бұрын
Yeah, I might try reducing the amount of safety breaks I do. I use stop buttons now as well, because they’re kinda fun

Chinese Generic with Schindler 5400AP fixtures
@elevatorsfromsydney35 ай бұрын
Technically, you’re not wrong about it being a Chinese generic and it having Schindler 5400 AP fixtures. Despite that the buttons might be fake D8 or probably by the same company who produced them for Schindler.

I'm unsure where this footage is taken from, in the UK many of the crossings that I've used seem to respond to the amount of traffic. It will take a while to turn red on busy roads, however if there's little to no cars near the light, it will turn red almost instantly. Mind you, this type of light system I mention is incredibly frustrating because you can press the button and wait for ages, and as soon as all the cars have passed, it turns red, essentially making the light practically useless for most.
