Gestern habe ich Quartonal in Ettlingen,im Asamsaal live erlebt. Ich bin beeindruckt, wie breitgefächert ihr Repertoire ist. Hier the "drunken sailor", gestern deutsche Lieder der Romantik. Großartig - ich freue mich schon auf die CD die im Asamsaal aufgenommen wird.

My choir sang "The Rose" and "Days of Beauty" with new arrangements, both adapting for mixed choir, with male and female voices and making spectacular videos! It’s a lovely lock and sync, and a well judged performance, wish I could have been there. I love the phrasing in the tag a lot. All I would like is for the vowels to be less swallowed - a relaxed rather than lowered larynx and a high soft palette, but with a high tongue - that way you will be able to ring more and create a richer series of overtones. It’s a lovely warm sound at the moment, but I know it can be even more arresting!

It's German latin as oppose to Italian latin, both versions are correct, the northern and central regions of Europe use German
