Apparently all of the lifts in the hospital were heavily modernised by Kone in 1993 with the having new cab interiors installed with TMS buttons and logic. Many of the lesser used low rise lifts still have their original Kone TMS buttons. However the main lifts probably had their buttons replaced in the mid 2000s with Otis Gen 2 ones because of the original buttons not being very durable while a couple of the other lifts were also modernised by Kone in the mid 2000s with Ecodisk buttons and logic.

I’m Bangladeshi-American, was born and raised in the US. I traveled to Bangladesh a few times when I was pretty young, which sparked some of my aviation interest. One of those special memories was the BA 747. But I barely remember from when I was 6 was flying to BD from NYC. I remember walking down the jet bridge, seeing the distinct black nose on the tip off the aircraft. I definitely remember the experience not being the nicest, just compared to some of the other airlines I ridden at the time, and also some passenger made me cry lol. Anyway, just a memory I kinda disregarded and was very faint. However, lately I kinda was just thinking of Biman Airlines, and wondering what planes they were using for those NYC flights they did back then. Found out it was the DC-10. I genuinely thought I never rode the DC-10 in my life. Seeing this video, the livery and the recognizable black nose of the plane, and then the interior of the aircraft, everything about it kinda reawakened a whole bunch of memories about the whole experience when I was younger that I completely forgot about for decades. Looking at the old and dirty interior, definitely remember why I hated the flight at the time lol, but this was a cool video, really feels like a time machine to the past

The station platform lifts in Melbourne Central Station in Melbourne Australia are exactly like those ones and were also installed in 1980 but with stainless steel interiors and US-81 Dewhurst buttons! They have since been heavily modernised multiple times over the years! :)
