I think what would be an interesting detail for the fourth movie would be revealing that before Sonic was sent to Earth, he indirectly saved Amy's life one day while out running, and while he didn't even notice her, she saw him and has been harboring a crush on him ever since. It would stay true to her introduction to the game series while working things into the movie's continuity.

You know which two villains I would love to see in Sonic 4? Infinite from Sonic Forces and Neo Metal Sonic. Just imagine these two in live action, it would be a masterpiece. Also, I don't think Amy dying is likely mostly because the Sonic 4 plot may be about Sonic's and Amy's relationship with each other, and Amy is an important character. Well, you forgot one character it is confirmed in the credit scene that shadow did not die and instead we're probably going to have an introduction scene of Sonic heroes or Sonic CD for the 4th movie and to be honest I actually think that the fourth movie is going to be epic because we are going to have an epic scene of metal Sonic in the movie we might even get metal overlord which is an extremely hard and strong transformation and would be an absolute epic seen metal Sonic appears in a bunch of Sonic games though so it could be based off anything we already got introduced to Shadow surviving and we don't know if Gerald robotnik or eggman survived Gerald robotnik has an extremely high chance of not coming back in the other movie however it is confirmed that shadows survived and is most likely going to make his own team called team Shadow and Amy is probably on Sonic side and it's going to most likely one Sonic about another potential threat named silver the hedgehog guess what he has telekinesis skills and might even join team metal Sonic or even team SonicI highly doubt though that blaze is going to appear in the movie because we haven't got introduced to silver or a blaze in the introduction credit scenes but it is confirmed that we will see metal Sonic and Amy in the fourth movie being released in spring of 2027.

This better NOT be true. I'm still devastated and beyond pissed that Sally is gone and probably non-canon, if i have to watch Amy die I'm boycotting Sonic forever, just like Star Wars. I honestly don't think she will though, Amy is the heart and soul of the Sonic fandom, and Sonic loves her even though he tries to hide it. if they do go with this ending .. I don’t think Amy would be killed off for good. If they are messing with time and space.. then they could go the route of sonic trying to find a way to bring Amy back and because of this we get introduced to sliver. With sliver trying to save his world and sonic trying to change the outcome that just happen they work together. All I know in the end is that I don’t think they are going to fully kill off amy. The writers have been really good when it comes to listening to the fans wants, so I trust they do right by Amy.
