An explanation. Before there used to be a country Yugoslavia but things went sour in the 90s and croat people from the same neighborhood found themselves cut from one another with the new countries. So you have special border controls so that they can keep going from one country to another without losing time. The policeman was really nice because usually border controls in Croatia and Bosna Hercegovina are not that friendly.

Yeah Spanish people are also sometimes so dumb - why is it so hard to understand this is not an international border crossing
@RealEpikCartfrenYT5 ай бұрын
"lokal pipl" usually those single house border crossings are for locals who work on both sides of the country so yeah they are correct.

I could be mistaken, but it looks like the local crossing that takes you near Svilaj in Bosnia. One time when I went though it was raining heavily and all they did was open the window and I saw an arm wave me through.

I have been to this crossing in 1998/99. I was posted on the Kamensko border crossing. We sometimes ran to this crossing or cycled.

The younger border agent is being very nice and the motorist is not taking him very seriously. Sometimes it´s better for border agents to simply put on an unfriendly facial expression and thus make their jobs easier. No need to repeat themselves constantly.

I came to Croatia border and the guy asked for passport, when he saw it was Australian he said the equivalent of, "just go through I couldn't be fucked with the paperwork." When I came back to Australia I walked through, took my passport out and the guy said "yeah mate just keep going I couldn't be fucked today." Then I realised how all around the world people are more similar than we think.

The croatian police officer speaks better english becasue there is a generational gap between him and the bosnian cop. The croatian cop probablys watches more usa media,tv shows,movies,music and also had english in school while the bosnian cop who's older probably didn't. I'm Slovenian and I can speak english but that does not mean I'm smarter then the bosnian cop in this video who can't speak the language. Considering how much they get payed,I also wouldn't have much motivation to learn it.
