Does anyone know if there's a setting on Resolve to automatically create project files like other softwares to stop this issue happening in future?

one tip for highlighters, those who think tey overdo it , you can take one moment before highlighting something ( if overdoing) and think ahead like how many times do you expect this in your script, is that fairly obvious that you do not need it or is it almost every next line, also if you need it it is never overdoing. Besides other team member from production house can do separate highlighting for them, or you do separate highlights in separate copy of scripts for actors if needed and give them that copy instead of you highlighting eveything in one script. Hoep this helps if this was a spoiler for future videos I am sorry, feel free to delete this one.

2:00 Nah. They have proven over and over again that they are a toxic sociopath company just like everyone else and recently they've gotten themselves in some deep 💩 They went a little too far down the empathy-less monster route before they became too big to fail and now they're pretty much 👉👌ed. You can't be that greedy before you're a friggin monopoly, so bye bye Epidemic Sound. Everyone please look up what they did. Spoiler alert: They filed countless obviously false copyright claims and cost many small(er) content creators a lot of money and refused to take responsibility until the 💩storm they provoked got a bit too noisy. Typical sociopath behavior. Also be a little more ambitious and put in a little more effort. I mean you, whoever reads this. There is so, so much you can do with just a DAW, a mic and the world around you. Make your own sounds and samples. It's easy ffs. If you can't, then maybe you're not a creative person. Maybe unplugging from the machine will make you realize you're just someone who was at the right place at the right time and had enough money for good gear that looks and sounds good enough even when you f up and have no idea what you're doing. And that's ok. Not everyone is an artist. Maybe I'm not an artist. Maybe I am. Maybe you are. Idk. But one thing I know is that we can't expect originality from a bunch of people who all use the same programs, same plugins, same samples on a laptop that play the same generic content when they're not producing it themselves. Be original. Even if that sneaky fart you thought no one would hear *is* on the record. Another awesome thing when you create original audio: You can use it however tf you want. Not just once, not twice, but as often as you want. As long as you want. No subscription, no fee, nothing. That WAV is yours.

This is very cool. But, like @costadrakos my footage becomes very yellow. I checked the last three nodes and their Preserve Luminance was off. I also turned off the Preserve Luminance on the 2nd and 3rd nodes off (which were turned on). No affect. I also changed the CST IN from Arri to Rec.2020 and Fujifilm Log 2... that brought my contrast back, but it's still yellow. UPDATE: Aha! It's the Look that's turning it yellow. The right side of the Blue Channel on your curves is pulled a tad too far down.

Couldn't you add the "charts" node at the timeline level? - seems to me you'd have a lot less turning on and off. It also seemed to me that if the middle grey is lower, that raising the exposure on the HDR tool exposure slider would be more accurate than lifting the curve. Middle grey in DWG is .336

The backups need to be on the same version of resolve. If the backups were created with 18.5 then the software needs to be 18.5. You can later update the backups with 19

@@costasdrakos right click on the technicolor node, and click show compound node. From there, go to the last 3 rgb mixer nodes and click on each one in the rgb mixer. If the preserve luminance is checked, uncheck it. This should fix the problem. Also check the cst in node. It is set to arri log c4 arri wide gammet. You got to change those input settings to your camera settings. I primarily shoot in arri raw and that is why it is set to that color space. Let me know if it fixes it, if it doesnt, we can schedule a one on one and I can walk you through it.

@@lightinsidecinema Indeed, it’s a frustrating situation to be in. However, I’d like to share that after trying your method, I discovered an easier way to retrieve project library in DaVinci Resolve, provided you have the project files available. In the Project Library section, click 'Add Project Library.' When the new window appears, choose 'Connect' instead of 'Create.' Then, give your library a name and browse to the folder where you’ve saved your backups and project files. For me it was: H:\01. My Projects\1. Video\02. Resolve Files\02. Personal\Resolve Projects This method worked wonderfully for me.

In this case, "Super Scale" is intended to highlight the feature's ability to upscale footage with high quality, using sophisticated algorithms to add detail and sharpness. However, without prior knowledge or context, it might not be immediately obvious that this is an upscaling tool.
@lightinsidecinemaАй бұрын
Exactly. It is a great upscaling tool if you have a better computer than what i have. Im running on a macbook pro with an i7 processor and the stock intel graphics card which isnt bad and it has been a workhorse. However i am thinking its time to upgrade to a mac studio.
