How do you get from where you arrive at the Istanbul airport to the help desk where Touristanbul is located at the airport? Thanks!
@pmexplore11 ай бұрын
I actually wanted to make a video about this. But once going through immigration and security I ended up turning off my camera. 1. from your gate, make your way to immigration. 2. After you get past immigration, you will walk through luggage pick up. 3. Make your way to the exit of the luggage pick up area. This can be a bit confusing, depending on time of the year and the number of flights. 4. Make a right and just walk all the way to the end of the airport. You will find Tour Istanbul at the end of the airport. Do not get distracted by many other tours and vendors that will try to recruit you to go on tours that they have.

Are there shops near the blue mosque where i can buy local products?. Wont get time to go to the main bazar during the tour
@pmexplore Жыл бұрын
Near the mosque there are some shops local. Atleast on the walk there, there will be. Most tour guides will slow down the walk if you are quick to buy something local. Right next to the mosque there are mostly tourist souvenirs shops. As a women make sure you bring a head scarf. Many places they head, shoulder and knees to be covered for men and women.

This is a the 12 noon tour. On all the half day and full day tours the meals are free. They pay for it. On another flight I did the morning tour. And we were taking to place where there were options to eat. But we had to pay for it. It was amazing. I think you will enjoy it.

I’m this video the tour was a only a 3 hour tour. But in my part 1 I took the full day tour. That was about 6 hours long. Once you are at the airport based on your layover circumstances the agent will give you a recommendation or option on what would best suite your needs.

@pmexplore Жыл бұрын
@@TabA-rx7bs yes, you can buy stuff. Just make sure it’s not liquids. Because at security back into the airport it will all be thrown away. Now on the tour itself the shorter ones will not have time to go and buy stuff. On the longer tours, ask the tour guide or others if they will take you to the grand bazaar or any kind of bazaar. Depending on the group they may make accommodations. Basically they do not want people to get lost. Now you can sign a waiver and exit the tour when you are in the city. At that point you will be responsible for getting back to the airport on time before your flight.

is this tour safe for a girl who travels alone? Does the tour guide have responsibility for everyone?
@pmexplore Жыл бұрын
Hi! Yes, there were quite a few solo female travelers from Iran, Australia and Canada in my tour. There are various tours that you can pick from the Turkish airlines based on your layover period. For shorter tours you won’t be getting out of the bus for the most part.

Can you please let me know how did you manage mobile data?
@pmexplore Жыл бұрын
There are a few ways to manage it depending on where you are from. Some networks allow you to get an international pass. I took an 15 day 5gb international pass for my travels. Gives me roaming data for a few countries. This worked for me. Others in the group bought SIM cards at their departing locations or at Istanbul. Which was cheaper for some and expensive for others. If you can tell me a bit more of your situation a better suggestion potentially be provided.

I met a woman in a night/dance club in 1988 who was incredibly beautiful, and she told me she lived in Pitman, NJ. Her name was Joy. I have never seen a more beautiful looking woman (Kind of a cross between young Jennifer Connelly and Young Elisabeth Taylor at that time). She was a school teacher in the town of Mantua, NJ. From the internet, I found out she became the teacher of the year in Mantua in 1993, and she became a School Principle in Mantua. before retiring. She never went out with me. She let me know that confidence was very important to being attractive to a woman, and even more important than looks. She also let me know the importance of the word "we" in relationships. If I were to guess why she never went out with me, it would probably have something to do with my lack of confidence and inability to say the word "we". I even wrote a movie script about a guy attempting to get his wife back from the arms of the world's most attractive man based mainly upon my experience with Joy. Over the years I came to Pitman often. I eat at Attillo Pizza Parlor, I go back to Betty Park and look over the lake. I walk around Pitman Grove. I probably will never see her again, but often think of Joy. This experience taught me the overall importance of the word "we", in virtually all aspects of human life. "We" is a very important word.
