NASA concluded two rubber O-rings in Challenger's right solid rocket booster had failed because temperatures overnight dropped into the low 20s. Hot gases burned through and caused an explosion of the external fuel tank.

Meaning who is God to you. Was he a friend? Did you turn to God in good times and rejoice with him? Did you turn to God in bad times for council? Was God invited to your dinner table? Was God invited into your life?
@MilesMinard3 жыл бұрын
God invited me. But I can only go to Him through his son- I am grateful for his son, Jesus. And I love him bc he saved me! But love is an action! So now I am pursuing God for his glory/truth/and to further His mighty Kingdom- it is worth fighting for and worth loving. God is the father of who saved my life.

@@MilesMinard Very true youngling, But let me direct you to here Joshua 24:15 "And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD." The act of taking the Lord into your home as well as with all your heart, your mind and spirit. Without the context of making the effort of serving and loving God ie "Didnt we do all this in your name? And the Lord replied; Depart from me, for I never knew you" Remember the oldest line in the book "did god really say?" Classic atheist, wiccan, satanic argument: If God is omnipotent and omniscient, how come he did not know who you are since he is all knowing? Stumping many young Christian's in the faith. Some falling away for lack of an answer. The answer being relationship with the Lord, not religion. Who is God to you? being the final question for that classic argument.

Um... note, Paul's prior job was hunting down Christian's. Take this into context when you read his works and understand the guilt he felt when he came to Jesus.
@MilesMinard3 жыл бұрын
Yes! We should all feel the same guilt.
@MilesMinard3 жыл бұрын
We should know that we are guilty, but through Christ that guilt was taken away.
@MilesMinard3 жыл бұрын
What Paul felt or was referring to was SHAME which is, “I am something wrong” Without Christ we are something wrong. Guilt is different- guilt is, “I’ve done something wrong”.
@Opinionsrnotfacts5743 жыл бұрын
Well no Miles - this preacher did not incite people to go to Church. He incited people to defy Public Health warnings against congregating during a pandemic without social distancing & wearing masks. This was not a State sanctioned attack against religion. You really should read up on the Shincheonji Church of Jesus in Korea that defied authorities demands not to congregate and in March 2020 accounted for 63% of the whole country's Covid19 cases.

So Miles, evolution is not an "accident" it is a marvellous creation that has spanned millions of years and is quite spectacular proof of God's existence.
@MilesMinard3 жыл бұрын
Many say it is by chance. I am taking it that you believe that God created evolution (the evolutionary process including change of KIND) in the beginning? If that was the way God had us all come to be, it would be spectacular proof of God’s existence. But I think that there is already an insane amount of proof in God’s existence without evolution. I am also taking God’s word and story of Genesis literally.
@Opinionsrnotfacts5743 жыл бұрын
@@MilesMinard You can't though - the "6 days" of creation loses none of the majesty and wonder should you loosen the interpretation of the word "day" to a period of time and sync with the scientific version of evolution. You simply can't take Genesis literally - after all it was an oral history passed down for many generations before it was committed to the written word - you need to expect some hyperbole crept in during the generations of oral retelling.
@MilesMinard3 жыл бұрын
@@Opinionsrnotfacts574 If you can’t take Genesis literally then you can’t take any other parts of the Bible literally. Genesis is part of the Word of God-it is not just oral history passed down. If Adam and Eve in Genesis never sinned in the Garden of Eden, and Adam and Eve weren’t even the first ppl to be created, then I am wrong, I don’t need a savior, and I am wasting my life living with my hope and faith in fallen peoples “oral history lessons”.

@@Opinionsrnotfacts574 We should look at science through a Lens the Truth (The Bible). We should not look at the Bible through a lens of science. Science is not reliable 🤷♂️

@@MilesMinard Evolution doesn’t deny Adam & Eve. They were very real - the first man & woman as we know them. Ok here’s the thing. I know we picture an image of God as a’ old man with a beard who is just like us. He has breakfast and watches the game and goes to sleep at night. But we know He is much bigger much more powerful than that. To assume a ‘day’ for Him is pretty much the same as a ‘day’ for us simply doesn’t grasp the enormity of who He is.

We live in the best country ever. I have a video request for you it’s a genuine question to which I have been praying about for quite some time. It would be whether women should be speaking about bibical related topics. As I’m sure you’ve read in 1Timothy 2:8-15 it talks about women not speaking over men. It’s a hard one because where is the line drawn? I personally don’t think it’s right for a woman to preach within the context of being a pastor/elder… having a high authoritative figure being a woman over the church. But then you could also look at many women who have Christian KZbin channels. 🤷🏼♀️ they don’t have authority but they do use there voice. Curiously your thoughts. It’s a tough one. Quite frankly… I recently started working on a video series through 1 Timothy…. And working on week 2 😬 it’s a tough one.

@MilesMinard3 жыл бұрын
Thank you!! Yes I have listened to some things from Joyce Meyer. Look at Jeremiah 23:16. I do not agree with many of the things she says or believes. She is a fabulous public speaker, and is believable with how she says things, but I do not agree with most of what she teaches. We must test everything (including all of our “Christian” (as she calls herself) influencers) against the actual Word Of God.
