The sled isn’t running it just sounds like it because of the track in rotation causing it to appear as if the sled was still idling and at the altitude there there in it doesn’t take much for the sled to free ride down to the bottom as tho it may not look steep it is in face very steep hope this helps still wouldn’t want to get cough in the track due to his tether getting snagged by a lug

Sled decks are incredibly impractical and expensive unless you _regularly_ haul two sleds. They're also fairly dangerous to load. And there is significantly more risk of sled damage. The lightest ones weigh 400lb and average around 450-550. And don't forget about suspension upgrades (airbags suggested over on SnowWest a lot) for the truck. If you have room for a small tilting trailer, use that. While you have one sled, get a harbor freight trailer it'll do great. Then you have a trailer for doing other stuff, too. Or just get ramps for your bed; my old iron fits comfortably in the back of my 01 F150 short bed between the humps. I also personally wouldn't want to put a 500lb (or two) sled up above the safe loading level of my vehicle, either, which is generally considered the top of your bed.
