I had the final verses written down on paper and taped it to my stearing wheel during the hardest times in my life for over a year. On the roughest days, I'd drive home from work and blast this song on high and would scream the lycircs out with tears. So much healing in this song

I return to this song so often to remind myself that God loves me, even though others around me may not. That, even though I have been nowhere near perfect, I am a failure in so many ways, that I am severely broken and I have wronged others, I have sinned against many and at times angry, toxic thoughts run through my mind, doubting all the gifts He has given me, He is ready to embrace me again and save me from every pain, injustice, and flaw, knowing full well I will fail Him again. Nothing is more powerful, and again I need His strength more than ever before. So I turn to this song again to remind me that He is with me, even if no one else is.

I lost my friend to suicide today. I don't personally believe in Christ. But I know he did. I respect that. I am so shocked. I unfollowed him on social media due to his wild opinions, and for that I blinded myself to what he was really saying. Regardless of his ways, I wish I had known. I wish I could go back and at least have the opportunity to see what's going on, but i really screwed up my chance at helping him. He was my former recruiter in the Army, former 19D. He was my inspiration to become one. He used to put a trash bag over me and make me run laps around the office. Of course, my head was sticking out. That idea made me sweat like a motherfucker, but his determination to get me where I wanted to be was something I rarely had growing up, as I had no father figure growing up. He used to make calls to me just to see how I was doing and it really didnt seem like he was just doing his job, it seemed like he really cared. I just wish I had known so I could have helped him when he had helped me so much already. After going back to his page, I realized how much hurt he was in. His wife was leaving him, and i know he very much loved his son. It hurts me that he left this world early. It hurts me that there wasnt anything we could do.
