@@heikoherzig1467 I had this one since spring 2022. 3 seasons flying, though it's just the sail new. The frame is older. I will go to Oz and get new for 2025.

@@angelorangel6195 haha yes, we fly others choose to dangle. I believe the red paraglider used to be a very good hang glider pilot. Hence why I fly round him!

Yes, in Derbyshire there are stone walls everywhere rather than fences. At this place we can pass a rigged glider over the front wall to fly again. Needs two people on the front side and one at the back.

You can buy these 'Spock Ear' tips for Moyes Rx from Skyline in Germany. They work best if you are at the top end of the weight range and improve climb more than glide.

Great flight and stunning scenery. 17 gliders on the ground plus you flying at take off. Is the BOS now down to just 18 entries these days? Can remember my first ever British Comp in Wales had 75 entries some 21 years ago.

Once apron a time I would fly my hang glider on the coast with the carabiner gate unlocked (a popular misconception) until one day I landed the glider to find that the backup hang strap had jammed the carabiner gate wide open. I now always fly with the carabiner locking gate closed whenever I fly the glider.

The more I see the more I think it might be a doable exercise concerning my old knees. A Knee brace for both legs, warm up before the running, old guy stuff. I am lucky I have so little fat on me. I am hoping it would make it more easy to learn to fly if I am more physically fit.
