Man first time hearing this band, and i thing the vocalist is Jeff Walker from Carcass.

jethro Tull is one of my favourite bands. hearing The Sword try it out is pretty cool.

Great tribute. I love it. Those songs and 70s Tull are perfect for a doomier interpretation.

I'm going to defend this. This isn't supposed to be a faithful version of the album. It's a total re-imagining of it in a stoner rock style. It is darker, grittier, and haunting. I rather enjoy the dark feeling it projects. Instead of being negative realize it's not the original, it's a redo in a totally different style. If it was going to be the original there would be no point to redoing it. Nothing will compare to the original so take it for what it is. I dig it. By the way. I saw Tull a few times. Im a fan an i understand why people are disappointed but try to be open minded. These are stoner rock bands not proggers.

whatever that cover of the title track was i can only describe as DISRESPECTFUL. it sounded like some drunk ass put a microphone inside his mouth and hummed badly.

I’ve been doing faithful covers of JT songs for 40 plus years… vocals, flute and guitar. Aqualung sounds like a so so Puddles the Clown cover. Kind of a cheap thrown together thing. Almost a joke. Voices are somewhat quality. The production is not great. Like they didn’t edit or re do anything. Not sure. Hearing this version I have to ask…. Why? What compels you to throw this together. You had NO other ideas? I understand unique and all that. But .. just semi uhhh. Why would you listen to this twice. I won’t. There’s nothing to draw you back unless you enjoy tedium . Ian…. WTF? Letting these guys touch that masterpiece of yours. Cripes! Cross eyed Mary? Garage band that just didn’t have the instrumentation so they got “ daring” and stripped the soul out and grunged it to death. Also WTF IAN?!?

As an ol’ Tully, I can say that I love the fact that these aren’t straight-up, note-by-note, xerox covers (for better or for worse!). I very much appreciate that these are subjective interpretations; these various bands made each song their own. I love BACK TO THE FAMILY! SON is great as well! NOTHING TO SAY is a fresh breath of air also!

To confront one of the best albums ever made, may cause some disappointment. I like this failure.

Really cool version of this song!

Coming from someone who knows this album inside out, I got tremendously excited when I heard The Sword's fantastic version of Locomotive Breath and came to listen with colossal expectations. Truth is, beyond The Sword's and Domkraft's renditions there's nothing -let's say- memorable about this tribute. Incredibly disappointed.

Some of this is kind of awful. I wish this was done more faithfully. As someone who donated, I am a bit disappointed. Jethro Tull deserves a much better tribute

I don't know what to say, some of this is incredibly good and some of this is incredibly bad. What a waste of the song Aqualung. Cross Eye Mary is another swing and miss. There's a couple home runs, over all I just don't know.
