I couldn’t guarantee but as long as you can ensure the metal surface of your waffle maker could reach 180 degree Celsius, then it should come out crispy and fluffy.

Recipe (yields 4-5 regular size waffle) Dry Ingredients 3/4 cup (100g) general / all purpose flour 1/4 cup (30g) cornstarch (key ingredient for the crispness) 1 tablespoon sugar 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1/4 teaspoon baking soda 1/4 teaspoon sea salt Wet Ingredients 1 cup (235ml) milk 80g unsalted butter (melted) - This is the correct amount of butter. In the video I mistakenly stated 70g of butter. 1 large egg 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Instructions 1) Whisk the flour, cornstarch, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and sea salt in a mixing bowl. 2) In a separate bowl, whisk the milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract. 3) Add the wet ingredient mixture to the dry ingredient bowl and combine it well. Do not over mix. 4) Let the batter set aside for 10 minutes, so that the baking powder can be fully activated. At the same time, preheat the waffle iron. 5) Once heated, pour the batter into waffle iron and follow it's instruction for done indication. Here you go

This waffle recipe surpasses all others I've tried, yielding precisely the crisp texture I crave. By substituting oat flour and incorporating my own supplements, I tailored it to perfection for a single serving. Drawing from past failures, I've learned crucial tips: opt for a high-power waffle maker like my 2200W model, include corn flour, avoid overmixing, allow the batter to rest for 10 minutes to activate the baking powder, and ensure the waffle maker is thoroughly heated before pouring the batter, opening only when the sizzle subsides. It's the ultimate crispy waffle experience.

Can i make the batter beforehand? Will it be okay to leave the batter overnight? Or maybe 3-4 hours? Will the result still be crispy and fluffy or it will affect the texture? If we can premake the batter what's the maximum time we should keep it?
@NotATechGuy6 ай бұрын
Absolutely! Maximum lead time to prepare the batter is 24 hours. I sometimes have leftover of the batter and kept it overnight at fridge. Then it’s still good to go on the next day.

Hello, if the ingredients were the same amount as the recipe, then I suspect your waffle maker might not be hot enough. Ideally the surface of the waffle maker should hit 180 degree Celsius, if you have any temperature gun to measure the surface?

Hi, how high the temp and how long to pre heat the waffle maker?. Once start cooking, what is the temp to set to cook and got how long? Thank you! ❤
@NotATechGuy Жыл бұрын
Hello! Your waffle iron surface should be at 180degree C / 350 Fahrenheit. How long to preheat depends on your waffle maker, usually makers have their own setting which will automatically tell you when it’s ready to cook. If not, then just ensure it’s preheated to the degree mentioned above. Cheers 😊
