Shaun isn’t a “bad” drummer. Obviously he’s in BB, but Chad Szeliga’s drumming overall was way more funky, tight, and just overall more fun to watch!

Idk whether Aaron's side palm hurts after so much of slapping the bass. If it were me, my side palm would be as red as a cherry

Ballsy move to cover this song, and you guys nailed it! High backing harmonies were perfect, and the lead guitar/lead vocals did an incredible job on a very difficult song vocally. The guitar tone was spot on, and really captures the essence of the Schulz/Gudreau sound. Keys were spot on and the drummer kept it all in perfect time, hitting the accents dead on. Excellent cover guys, you should be proud!

Ben gets all the credit. Aaron is the glue that holds it all together. Take away his bass lines and his screams and Breaking Ben Is another average band.
@jacobdomangue7088 Жыл бұрын
Uhhhhh no. You'd have old breaking benjamin before Dark Before Dawn. The loss of his screams would change things live sure. Just means Ben would have to scream more. The band was great before Aaron. Would continue to be great without him.

The new line-up is good, but the first one (2000 - 2010) rocked harder and put out 4 of the 6 albums. Ben put each together and is the real glue.

What? I love that snare sound, no annoying overtones, short and focused. Just like a rock snare should sound in my opinion. But thats all it is, opinions(Unless it actually would have sounded garbage). No need to be a dick about it...

I think Shaun is on that level, just a different style. I actually prefer Shaun's drumming in BB. But we all got different tastes bro

Both are world class drummers and I love both of their styles. But they do have quite different playing styles, eventhough shaun is good at mimicking Chad when needed.
@jasonryan66752 жыл бұрын
@@BorderflyTV I agree. They're both equally good imo. But I definitely prefer Shaun's writing style. Chad seemed to fall off on "Dear Agony". Several of the songs just lacked inspiration or power and came off as very "meh" and subdued. Shaun's writing is definitely more powerful and in your face.

I love how intricate his basslines are, usually the bass does the bare minimum in metal (in my experience) either copying the guitars exactly or doing something simple and just playing short and long root notes. Thats why I love breaking benjamin, all of the parts are thought out completely instead of just crammed together like a lot of songs
