I had no idea that such an obvious descriptor is offensive to some, even though it is used elsewhere on KZbin by people of color. Frankly I find all this egg shelling ridiculous. I don’t honestly know what descriptor to use to minimize offence, who knows, maybe a word of choice in one part of the world is completely offensive in another. I personally find that calling someone black should be offensive and I don’t understand why it isn’t, especially when someone is a lighter shade of brown. I hate it when people call me white, pink is a better descriptor, or just European. We would all be happier if we were just a little more tolerant of other peoples language, rather than trigger off because of a subjectively perceived infraction, leaving the ‚offendor‘ completely dumbfounded and in some cases offended themselves.

The trouble with idealists is you can't argue with them because their believe system is so deluded that you'd have to dismantle everything they say. Instance.
