Dj Ray. It took a lot to get this bike where it is now. What I love most is the power band, it’s amazing on these older bikes. So much torque and speed you get it’s so worth it. It’s a blast and I’m definitely keeping it.

I was looking at these because they are cheaper than hmf / fmf, is this a slip on and are they as good?
@jakeyfz30784 жыл бұрын
SaturleyMX Yes this is a slip on and in my opinion it’s better than Hmf. These are the reasons 1 it sound more throaty 2 you feel the power increase. By the way I’m not sure what I have it jetted at but I added a K & n air filter and a jet kit.
@shaunrider59214 жыл бұрын
JakeTrx awesome, my trx is making a slight whining noise so I want a loud ass exhaust to over-hear it, I might get one of these
@jakeyfz30784 жыл бұрын
SaturleyMX is the whining noise coming from the original exhaust? If not it could be something wrong internally inside the engine that needs to be fixed.
@shaunrider59214 жыл бұрын
JakeTrx not sure where I’m thinking clutch maybe it’s worn out I’ve had the bike for a while and always use it manually
@jakeyfz30784 жыл бұрын
SaturleyMX well I would look into fixing the clutch before the exhaust. Remember small things matter. Then the exhaust would be necessary.

@jakeyfz30784 жыл бұрын
Nice and yeah it does sound good. I recommend getting a K&N air filter and a jet kit and that would make it run better and give it more power.

Hey I have the same quad with the same slip on and I’m running rich! What number pilot and main jet are you running in the carb?
@jakeyfz30784 жыл бұрын
Edward Avelar well to be honest I would have to check. If you want to try this you can move the needle up and it would make it leaner. I will check sometime and hopefully get back to you.
@edwardavelar18574 жыл бұрын
JakeTrx alright sounds good thank you ! I’m running so rich that I don’t need the choke on a cold start
@jakeyfz30784 жыл бұрын
Edward Avelar does it not rev out all the way? Does it sound like it’s getting to much gas? Because mine will start without choke. And just needs to warm up and it will run amazing.
@edwardavelar18574 жыл бұрын
JakeTrx no it runs great but the spark plug is black and when it’s at idle if I rev it you can see a little bit of black smoke but it’s not a lot
@jakeyfz30784 жыл бұрын
Edward Avelar normally when your oil gets thin like gas it could be a few things first the needle and seat could be leaking. Second like you said not all the gas was burning. If I were you I would try to Adjust the needle up to make it leaner and try that. I will sometime find the jet I used I just need time to get it

EpicJake nice don’t you thinks that’s a little hard on the motor ? Although that would be very good at drifting.
@jakeyfz30784 жыл бұрын
Ride BC yeah probably but with a smaller pinion it made it have more torque just less speed I mainly use it in the sand dunes though.
@tombudziak31074 жыл бұрын
Try to sit back more when you wheelie and use the clutch, rev it halfway or something and it should lift up, also try stand ups, they are easier cause you have your weight on the rear more and you see better. Dont forget the rear brake.
