@dbrownwindАй бұрын
That might be a nice signing of Yabusele, but for all the credit you given him, he hasn’t done anything in the NBA. The Olympics is a different ballgame. They play by different rules. And I thought he was only 68 230, not 260. He was with the Celtics for at least two years and I guess they didn’t see anything. I hope it works out for the Sixers cause they need somebody with size who’s played the position. But we’ll see. Good luck.
@rayl3103Ай бұрын
We're overvaluing the signing but the current version is significantly better than the version in Boston. He was given time to work on his game in Real Madrid. He's not going to start but he'll get regular minutes and be in the rotation.

He should start.. If PJ Tucker could start on these past Sixers teams along side Embiid then Yabusele can too.. IMO

If we can get Hayward on a min contract then I think it's a good choice. So tired of seeing Marcus Morris - feel good story but he's an open door on defense at this point in his career and he was never known as a rebounder - Harris was better rebounding. Lamar Stevens or Jordan Nwora would be young energy guys on min contracts - and they could be used with KJ's contract if we need to make a trade mid season.

I get the importance of analytics in sports but I believe the eye test is STILL the best tool for evaluating and assessing talent. KEVE ALUMA is an emerging NBA player and his production only got better the more minutes he played! I'm not afraid to say I think the Sixers were handed a gift. A 6'9" two-way athletic forward is hard to find ...on the cheap. The Sixers find themselves in need of a PF with athleticism and length and Aluma gives you BOTH! His ability to shoot from deep only adds to his potiental. I would be greatly disappointed if Keve isn't offered that last two-way contract.

The Knicks may have won 4-2, but the points differential was 1. 1 point. The Knicks added Mikal Bridges but lost an important starting piece in Hartenstein and a bench piece in Bojan. They may even risk losing McBride, who was a Sixers killer during the bench minutes. The Sixers have made vital additions like Drummond (rebounding and backup center), PG (who will hopefully average 20 ppg and 40% 3pt shooting), and Celtics and Bucks killer Caleb Martin.
