3 hrs is pointless. Thankfully, I don't care about recording. I just need a live feed once in a while, and I'm thinking about getting rid of my Arlo cameras. I'm getting tired of having to maintain separate accounts for different kinds of devices.

This was a great review but I can’t believe you left out the video verification. That’s such a huge benefit that only few companies offer in this day where police hardly respond due to the assumption that it’ll be yet another false alarm.

3:55 FYI - once you cancel, your Nest Camera and smart devices will not work in the ADT+ app.

Since it's wireless it can be jammed by the wireless jammers the criminals are starting to use. And unlike a traditional system, if they increase the price you can't switch to another monitoring company.

ADT is actually the only security company that’s never had a security breach, unlike all the other popular wifi cameras like ring or blink. They actually have third party testing to try and have people hack and break into the systems to identify vulnerabilities so it can avoid those issues.

@@sydneyboucher7316I think you are talking about security breaches for their alarm, which is true, but they have had a recent security breach into their billing system. It was apparently very limited and not a lot of customers affected. But their alarms were not affected.

Not sure why blink gets so much hate. My 10 blink cameras cost the same as 2of my arlos . Sure the arlos, eufy, etc have better quality but 4 of them for $100 is tough to beat.

Let's talk about Experian. Given my own experience with them I wouldn't trust them to clean a trash can. For years they mixed up my father's information with mine. They went so far as to say we were aliases for each other. 2 son's, 2 different middle names. After my father's death they again mixed everything up. I recieved one report I was dead. And now you can't even talk to a person about their reports. Then they had a data breach affecting thousands (or was it millions) of people. I was in that group as well. Now they branch out to other business models. They should be shut down and crushed out of existence for their incompetence and ruination of people's lives.

In case this reaches anyone considering it - cove was an absolutely awful system. I had to go through 3 panels, before being "graciously offered" to be allowed to pay for the new, upgraded one. After 4 hrs of arguing, I got it for 90% off (taking my monthly credits, and getting a free month of monitoring), and although now it didn't break, the feature set was worse and it had a Cove-created login that I couldn't change. Yay. And this is on top of there hardware glitches and breaks. Huge waste of money.

I have a Ring and Nest doorbell, and the RING doorbell works way better . The Nest doorbell is annoying and is not as friendly and is too many steps to follow

The app isn't on Google Play anymore? We tried setting ours up but the website gives an error and the cameras' lights flash orange, not red and green like it says. The camera isn't connecting at all.

My indoor nest camera was absolute garbage. Bought one of their "high end" cameras. Never worked right, constantly needed restarts, would disappear from the google app, and died after only a few years.

Good job but easy to misunderstand. No fee system should mean that you purchase your product and you are not limited in use of it with greedy company policy that they force you a so callled plan, otherwise you are not able to store camera records to YOUR cloud. For example Dropbox or iCloud. Generally this should be not legal in the future. So, which brand makes this possible?

It's a shame that a channel named "security" suggest that a $100 subscription-based camera, 3 hours of free recording and everything is uploaded to cloud for AI training is a good deal.
