Ring Is The Best

Is this doorbell supposed to alert you via cell phone when someone rings it or when it sensors movement? I don't get any alerts.

Gen 4 are junk, i went back to the XT2 models i had, Gen 4 sound is glitchy at best and YES i have tweaked all the settings. As for Blink,s technical service, well i,m still laughing at how bad they are.

Your video, like Google's messaging, is ambiguous with respect to the push notifications and whether or not they are available with or without the NEST AWARE service. I am not using NA, and I set up all the push notifications, under which events, etc. Can't seem to get any notifications. And at that, it is hard to test because - I believe - if the camera has learned the people in your household, then you'd have to test it with a genuine stranger.

There is no true color night viewing or constant color unless there is a movement entering in view plus no option to add a micro SD card in the camera itself👎 so this is being returned

WARNING. ADT user for five years. Paid every bill on time. Never abused equipment. It took effort over two days to get an authorized service technician to come to my home. For some reason their own equipment did not send the "service needed" message to them. I had to struggle through 3 or 4 chats with ADT personnel just to establish that I was in fact their customer. BTW, my home is an immovable object with an unique number attached to the front facing the street. There are ADT items installed in several places in my house. I could have supplied government I.D. to establish that I am the person who is on the ADT account. Two aggravating days! Wish I could rip the system out, but, of course, it is embedded all over the house (6,000 sq. ft.)

Stuck with the ADT system which was hard-wired into our home when we purchased it. Getting local service of their system is a monumental effort. Despite the fact that we have been paying bills from our home address for five years the local office was NOT, repeat, NOT, willing to send out a technician to our address (which they have in their accounting system) and confirm that we do in fact have an ADT system, and that the ADT system is sending a "needs service" message. Absolutely infuriating. We have needed service about three times since we moved int. Each time, lots and lots and lots of effort and conversations with bots. I don't even care about the substantive value of the ADT system compared to others. I would love out of this system.

We’ve been using Eufy with their $100/yr monitored service and really liking it. It appears to be best value and Eufy cameras are always top notch. The main thing it misses is cellular backup option for HomeBase 3. As you know, for monitoring service they use Noonlight. What are your thoughts on Noonlight for monitoring?
