Really like the way they have slide shows of colorful landscapes to compliment their music in some of their choices her at KZbin. This recording is one of my favorite Deanta musical compositions.

Bless you for uploading this. I had family that passed that would play this "so I knew my heritage better." I know my heritage plenty so now I listen for the passed on souls that made sure I knew. Thank you!

Cherish your music & heritage now because your Marxist globalist government is importing millions of Africans & Middle Eastern populations who will erase all trace of it within 3 generations. Your people voted for it.

Gives me goosebumps. I am an old soul and somehow this is so familiar. I love Celtic music. It's got soul. Magical lands. Lovely people. They've been through a lot and yet live on strong and proud. Thanks for this music.

Great comment. The land of my ancestors... now lost to time. Not the land, but the way of life.

The maidens of beauty and swains so forlorn That carelessly wander away from your home I am off by the moonlight and break of the morning I'll be found in the mountains of dark Iniseoghain I strayed to a place they call sweet Clonmany In search of a fair one that I might adore But a maiden to love me, I couldn't find any From Meendoran Bridge to the Gap of Mamore Many's the Colleen I cast my eye over From Mary of Malin to the Rose of Moville All sweet were their smiles and eyes filled with laughter But sure in the end was myself waiting still At the Bay of Culdaff where the wild waves are breaking Carndonagh with forest-clad mountains and hills I sat, but in vain with a heart that was aching For one whom my dreams of a bride would fulfill But then in the shades of old Barnan I found you That valley o'ershadowed by mountains so grand And I prayed that God's angels would ever protect you And I placed a keepsake in your little white hand And now I am stationed in County Fermanagh Far from the fair one that I do adore But when I return it will be to my dear one That I left in the mountains of dark Iniseoghain

This song should be the Ireland's hymn.

Whoever made the picture sequence to go with this song should have at least used images from Inishowen. The song even mentions Clonmany and there is no image of it at all. If you don't know Ireland then you wouldn't know this!

I'm jealous of you, that my ancestors left and came to USA. How nice would it have been to be born there instead of only getting to visit. I like being American, but there is no place quite as magical as Ireland.

This is the perfect video to show people the beauty of Ireland without the intended pylons and wind turbines that the government of Ireland would like to litter such a beautiful country. Get more info at The Irish Way on Facebook and add your voice to the outcry!

So here I am again, no heroin or anything like that, but the Celtic music needle & syringes get ever bigger, requiring ever more frequent doses. I nearly had to go into musical rehab after Celtic Connections Festival. Shame Deanta only made 3 albums, but don't forget, all of the band went onto to do other things - there is hope.

I'm so sorry, I'm not trying to be difficult! I think the easiest way is to direct you to my channel and playlists. You can look up any user you see on you tube the same way you look up artists and you'll find their channel and their playlists. deanta, Celtic thunder, Celtic woman are some of my favorites, thanks for your suggestions!

Thanks, I appreciate that. I have listened to all but Aine, and any more suggestions will be followed up. See my suggestions above, or, click on my initials for my channel - don't worry, I won't spam you with crap vids or anything - and you'll find loads of stuff there, not just Celtic music. Enjoy!
