Bought an A3500 a couple weeks ago and last night I did a Mango Banana ice cream with Coconut Cream in it and I was impressed how good it was. It won't rival a good Gelato I start on the stovetop and finish in my Lello Gelato machine but it was REALLY good. Now I'm trying all sorts of things. This Vitamix is a heck of a performer.

I've got a Vitamix commercial vintage with a pouring spout. I got it for free. It had a broken blade and the owners were going to throw it out. I asked if I could have it. They gave it to me. I think I paid $15 or $20 for the part a bought a couple of new blade seals. I've been using it almost daily since 2005 with no problem. Awesome machines and a lifetime investment!! Great review!!

QVC horrible customer service: "I received my vita mix 7500 today, 1/4/13 I decided to make peanut butter, doing the process The machine begin to smoke then it stop working. I called QVC, Dora answers the phone ( 1/4/13 @ 2:15 pm pst) she was an absolute witch.... now i just paid over 600.00 for a defective blender and wanted Quality service. After a few words with Dora, who didn't give a rats azz about me as a customer Who just purchased an extremely expensive blender... when I asked for her last name or service number she told me NO!!! and proceeded to hang the phone up in my face . BTW I called vitamix and they were extremely helpful. I will never make another purchase through QVC."

The thing is they last a very long time! I've had my Vitamix 9 years and have only recently purchased a newer model. Imagine buying a blender for 60 bucks and using everyday for six months... It simply will not last. So those complainers are definitely paying more for the cheap ones!

Hey. It's called the ANDI (Aggregate Nutrient Density Index) scale - can't find the exact chart but google it and you can see what foods get the highest/lowest points and more info. :-)

Commercial users don't use vitamix. Even though they are finally introducing computerized models. Its a manual blender. Most use blendtec which are push button, shorter and easier to clean. Vitamix did have a commercial blender but they were shown to in violation of blendtec patents.

Yes there are people who worship mother nature I am not one of them but I know people who do.
@rosestainedglass11 жыл бұрын
You're insane. Mother Nature isn't a God. It's a phrase. There is no group of people who goes around worshipping, praying, and crusading in the name of "Mother Nature". Have you heard of "Father Time". Please climb out of under your rock and educate yourself.
