I've played the new Kirkland balls for roughly 25 or so rounds. They are a big improvement over the past three piece balls. They've fixed the distance problem by giving these new balls a thinner cover. They are drop and stop like virtually all of the other premium balls on approach shots. The greenside spin seems on par with other premium balls as well. My only gripe is the durability of the cover. It scuffs pretty easily on full wedge shots. Feel? I'm not a feel guy. I don't notice when a ball is hard or soft. Most feel about the same to me. I'll leave that to others to comment. I know a lot of people, myself included, hated the past balls because they were short. About a club for me. That is not the case with the new balls. You can bet folks commenting on how short the ball is are talking about the old ball. I think a lot of folks are really going to like these new ones.

The difference between the older kirkland v3 and the 2025 version in the new ball has a much thinner cover and a slightly firmer core. The BIG mistake they made with the 2025 ball was using a harder core. If they used a slightly softer core with the thinner cover on the 2025 release, the ball would be immensely better.
@ra1279Күн бұрын
I assume because you prefer a softer ball? I don't know if the new core is firmer, but it is bigger. Personally, I don't really notice how firm a ball is. Only it's performance. These balls have performed well for me, and I'm a higher swing speed guy.

I don't think you've played this new ball. I have played it regularly for over a month and it is hard to tell the difference between it and other premium balls. They fixed the distance problem they've had in the past. My only beef is the cover isn't very durable. It scuffs pretty easily. Otherwise, it's performance is on par with the big boys. When people forget how bad the past offerings have been, Kirkland will have a well respected ball.

Payntr shoes are some of the best I’ve ever had, very impressive durability, mine are a bit bashed up to look good on the golf course but still 100% waterproof so I use them to walk the dog sometimes they are 3 years and about 150 rounds old

We play golf league at this course (Front 9 only). Glad to see visitors have as many issues as regular players. When its wet, its "Cart path only". We have a joke, that we would rather play when it's 125 degrees rather than cart path only. It sucks to walk!

How easy are these to keep clean especially those that don't have the patent leather strip? I was eye the US opens and the UNCs but the strip looks suede and might be tough to keep clean.

Are you selling the SC now? That LAB is sure pricey, they charge $100 more just to get a different length, compared to other popular companies don't up-charge you. You even have to pay $100 just to pay $100 for the upgraded shaft! I still think once a putter is in your hands it influences how the face returns to square at the ball. The revealer is a placebo cause there are no outside forces.
