I really appreciate Cera Ve's products. I love their cream to foam cleanser, perfect balance for my skin. Cleans it well, removes makeup, and does not leave a dried out feeling. If I have worn makeup (concealer, foundation) for the day, I will wash my hands really well first, then take 2 pumps and mix with warm water for about 2 minutes. Before I rinse it off, I add a gentle exfoliation to remove dying/dead skin cells, and that removes any makeup trying to hang around. It's great stuff, try it! The moisturizing is bomb too!

Sorry you’re feeling this way Karen. For all it’s worth, whenever the son is doing something upsetting, or behaving in a way that family doesn’t like they will blame the girlfriend/wife. That’s just how it is. When I was dating my boyfriend and he was being disrespectful, his mom would ask if it’s my bad influence. You will never be good enough for your in laws, and fact is, even if your husband were to marry someone else, that woman too would never be good enough. So best is just accept the fact and move on in life no point asking why MIL hates me, why is she like that. Just accept it and maintain peace for you and your husband sake. Keep your distance and leave it as it is. I tell myself one day when I become a MIL to my son’s wife then I’ll perhaps understand. Hopefully I’ll be a better MIL when that day comes. Hopefully you’ll find it in your heart to forgive them. Just focus on your husband and Dove ❤

As a primer base for the tirtir cushion your best bet might be using the urban decay 24 hr primer All Nighter. I love using it during the summer time- it keeps my concealer in place really well! I also live in a very humid environment near Florida and this primer did wonders for my skin & makeup along with the milk hydrating grip primer when my skin is getting dry by the cold; helps keep the skin moisturized while keeping makeup in place during the hard winters. I would also just set that area of the nose w/ a loose powder like beauty bakerie flour- such an awesome setting powder that prevents my makeup from breaking apart on my t-zone and corner of the nose as well!

Your story really resonates with me. Thank you for having the courage to publicly speak about this. In laws are known to be difficult, but wealthy Filipino Chinese in laws are like scary. I’m canto and my husband is half Filipino half Chinese. His parents never accepted me until very very recently and we’ve been married for almost 11 years and have a 7 yo son. They’ve done and said some of the most obscene things to me, to my parents and son. All I can say is put yourself first. Keep your distance from your in laws and don’t spend time with them unless Leo is there to supervise. It honestly does not matter what you do, what job you have or how well you treat them. Because girl, I have done it all and when in laws hate, they will find any reason to hate.
