Have to agree the universal match is a cracking rod, with cover just about EVERYTHING, I live in the Whitby area so my local grounds are rough ground and cliffs and the rod has handled everything I’ve put it through. Cracking rod 👍

I’ve got the universal match and the match lite , I haven’t cast or fished with the lite , but the universal match is silky smooth, plenty of power , I’ve put a good dozen casts through it with the 175 lead , very impressed with it , it casts like a rod treble the price , can’t wait to fish with it 👍👍👍

I enjoyed your video. Great location and well presented. Well done with the flatties and the bass. You seem like an accomplished angler unlike me which is hit and hope(more hope than hit!). At what distance were you casting, and were you in deep water? Plenty of good sized bass being caught here on the southeast coast in fairly shallow water to big worm baits. I think you need to blank occasionally to appreciate catching on the next trip. Best wishes, Dave broadstairs Kent

Thx dave, iv fished for many years off & on, just started up again & thought I'd do my own channel for a video diary to look back on in years to come, the beach I was fishing I quite a deep beach & was casting probably around 70 to 100 yards no need to cast far at all for bass few foot of water & your fishing ,keep at it dave ,we all blank ,thx again for your comment 👍
