D Minor concerto from Angela is legit !!

I am interested in the reasoning leading to the placement of the soloists. With the piano to stage left/audience right she can see neither the conductor nor her solo colleagues. I would have swapped positions of cello and piano.

Like he said, there's a lot more that could be said about this beautiful colossal work. The speaker wastes his time with digressions ... like about Schubert's glasses and the Schubertiaden instead of focusing on other aspects of the SYMPHONY that could have been mentioned. I was looking forward to more.

Amazing and "duende" - a constant passionate unfolding--bringing you into the fold! (Much of Bach is like the "duende" of flamenco, as the glorious modern dancer, Manuel Alum, described.)

As per the beginning discussion, I feel that the soloists are having a conversation amongst themselves here, rather than it being a separate chamber piece as suggested by Matthew White, if that makes sense. This is one of my favourites by Beethoven. Brilliant!

Dignity and nobility in those dark times

Oh my! I am glad I can write my thoughts because I cannot speak, I am choked with emotions! This is the best performance extraordinaire of the Four Seasons I ever listened to. So visual and visceral. I got cold while listening to the wind...I will come back to this performance again and again. Grazie!
