9/2024...First off,...thank you for posting this film. I was 15 in 1969, and living in suburban Cleveland, Ohio. One didn't get a drivers license until they were 16, in Ohio. I had driving privileges, to drive my father's work car on weekends, but had to stay close to home. So having no car, and having not ventured outside of my city, meant there was no way I could have gotten myself to Woodstock, or been allowed to go. Woodstock had an amazing effect on all outdoors concerts, for years as other smaller collectives of friends and musicians, attempted to capture the spirit of the event.

GREAT footage! But I noticed something rather interesting: If you watch the video carefully, you begin to notice that the audience is overwhelmingly.......male. Not that it matters, but for every one female there are at least 10 guys. Curious.........

This is an integral part of music history. There is no way that something of this magnitude could be done again. If smartphones were around at that point in time, I think it would ruin the atmosphere of this. Very good footage. I saw Santana 5 times live in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. At one of these concerts, there was someone in the audience who was there when Santana performed at Woodstock. I think music can be a positive force for good. Thanks for sharing this. Cheers! ✌️

Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue" was an integral part of music history!! This was just a bunch of long-haired lowlifes who had nothing better to do than get themselves high, get pregnant with other people who were then forced to spend the rest of their lives on child support, and listen to OTHER lowlifes belch out this anti-establishment garbage!!!

🖖✌️☮️🎬. This is so worth while watching . Fantastic film showing day and night , the vehicles , the people , the buses and the community that evolved . I’m a child of the 60s . I was born on the other side of the planet and lived in a wet tropical rainforest jungle environment when this event occurred . Papua New Guinea . We had BBC radio news available into our home and I can remember my father commenting on the new age music and the American hippies of the day , as it was the talk around our dinner table for many evening meals . English Australians . My appreciation to you being there and filming the event and then of course , later making it available , 50 years later . Half a Century . May ✌️ peace and 🦋 flutter by love 💜 be a result of your 🕉 ☮️ endeavours .
