great video and i love the effect, however i seem to be having a weird clipping effect around the edges. is there something i am doing wrong or a way to fix this.

How do I add collision to it so that when the swirl is going off in doors most of it is being blocked from going outside by the walls.

Hello!! Would you be able to make a video explaining the new Texture Sampling node in Niagara for UE5.4? I can't find tutorials for it anywhere!

At 1:23, I am getting a "arithmetic between types float4 and float3 are undefined." error on my multiplier, causing the material to not show on the sphere at all. I'm using my own texture, a transparent gray png file of a water splash I drew in gimp.

Epic games should make a way to "Bake" these simulations so they are way more preformate and useable on different things like moble so it can be used on oculus games

Is there anyway you can upload the texture maps somewhere and provide the link (since they were provided free by Unreal). Because I just cannot locate them to try this tutorial now :/

nice, thanks. Niagara is absolutely not intuitive, but following tutorials its useful
Is it possible to create this or similar without working it in into every Material that shall interact with that mask, for example to make it possible to just set a tag "dissolves" and then it can dissolve with the Object. I know thats probably difficult, but i cant think of this beeing practical if I need to work it into every Material. Not that I could have done any of this better.

Not a really good video... - settings screenspace will mostly break lumen. - why the mirror material behind a planar reflection ?? Settings up crystal clear reflections is a hard topic which require good knowledge of your settings/purpose. From my pov, with lumen you better rely on mirror material (will break if too close, can only render what's on screen), or "faking" mirror with scene capture (more expensive/tricky), or path tracing if it's for cinematic.

Followed EXACTLY in Unreal 5.4 but doesn't work. I wonder if something has changed?
@rubncarmona15 күн бұрын
The reason it doesn't work is probably because the variable name should have the prefix "User.", as it's a user param inside the niagara system. it should look like "User.DynamicMaterial"
