Thanks for not rifling through cards like a madman. I like to hear little tidbits about different players. Cards are, to most of us, a pretty wholesome past time.

I have had a relationship with cards my entire life. I’ve had some highs and lows and have even had a few fallouts where I “broke up” with them. I’ve been back together with cards since late 2022 after a two year break, but this time, I’m focusing on vintage. It’s been a great ride so far and has reinvigorated me to collecting. Thank you for your channel and thank you for the giveaway.

Glad to see the series is back; looks like you're going the distance! As always, fascinating stories and facts: Nixon forges signatures for the Red Sox, McDevitt unknowingly starts the last game the Dodgers will ever play at Ebbets Field, Humberto Robinson defies a skunky businessman by turning down A $1,500 bribe....once again, you're doing a great service to these forgotten players and their careers, which were often fascinating, even if their stats were not. My dad, brother and I saw Al Kaline at Comiskey Park that Saturday game in September, 1959, one of the highlights of that day. Since then, every time I come across the chemical term "alkaline" I recall how my father used it to intentionally mix it up with Al Kaline's name. His big hit in the '68 World Series must have been epic; too bad MLB wouldn't look the other way and slip him ONE MORE home run to make 400 for his great career.

Love the pair of ‘33 Goudeys you got, great stuff. The back of the Ott card is probably the product of a wet transfer from the adjacent card it was stacked on top of. I have a ‘33 Sport Kings Weissmuller that has the same deal.

Wheatland is an excellent auction house. They are different from most houses as they are 30 day auctions and their website layout is unique. 5 or 6 years ago they landed the “Uncle Jimmy” collection which they spread out over 5 auctions. I have participated in their auctions from them maybe 10 times.

Hey man, I am from Southeastern Mass. In my opinion (and my favorite player) Ken Griffey Jr. was the best hitter (barring injury); he certainly had the most beautiful swing. I loved watching Ichiro and you can't forget Tony Gwynn. However, I do feel like Clemens and Bonds should be in the HOF. Tons of Athletes take PEDs, the majority just aren't caught; that's just my opinion.
