I haven't been there in about 10 years but it still looks pretty much the same. Still a sharp units plus that somewhat pinched horn sound at the end. A nice catch also knowing that it being on US Highway 41 which is several blocks from me in Milwaukee

Ive always loved trains growing up. Ihad toy trains etc. I live in a small town that for decades had a full functioning railyard. Thats long gone now. The freight trains just roll through only stopping for inspection at the border.

I caught the IC leading 58 north of Alma IL while I was out walking but it was past before I could get my phone out and take photos. On April 18th I caught a CN engine pulling an Amtrak north about 9pm going past my house. I jumped in the truck and caught it in Farina IL.

Todays 58 Had GTW in the CN North American Paint SD40-2 Leading. Been nice that all these Siemens locos keep crapping out.
