Same here, it felt pretty good not going to lie. I definitely enjoyed it. I didn't know anything about this series, but I was given a heads up to try it out. I did a quick google search and incredible this series been around since 1998. My first FPS's were rainbow six and metal of honor allied assault on pc. This series fell under my radar.

Quick answer to the point is Game Capture. Run OBS as administrator. You can check the box limit capture to framerate so it doesn't over capture what your recording which is 60 fps. Ideally its beneficial as we limit OBS from overdoing it, but really just depends on your rig. Some folks it stabilizes their pc some barely a difference. Straight from OBS themselves if you are having issues you can refer to this: obsproject.com/kb/game-capture-setup-guide Straight from OBS themselves they do have this page from them as well on other sources: obsproject.com/kb/sources-guide Ideally you want to use it in this order: 1) Game Capture 2) Windows Capture 3) Display Capture Game Capture hooks into the game directly hence why it's better. This Source lets you directly capture the game you are playing, so long as it's DirectX or OpenGL. Game Capture is the most efficient way you can add your games to OBS and should always be tried first. There are only a very small number of games that do not work with Game Capture. FPS wise it was pretty negligible; however, I saw most impact when it came to vram usage and we mainly want to optimize OBS to the best we can to not crash or have instability. Giving OBS what it needs and not more you know? Are you currently having performance issues?

Twitch is pretty friendly when it comes to 720p, I never touched FB. Kick with the friends who moved over to kick. It seems like their platform isn't great for720p. I recommend to 1080p if kick on their end allows it. For kick its based on your viewer count and eventually they allow the 1080p

Depending on resolution and how fast the game is and how much information is across the screen such as a ton of foliage. It can cause the blurriness. Especially like twitch, they experimented with HVEC and AV1 however at the moment they paused testing and allowing a enhanced beta testing that allows the updated encoding. You can bypass bitrate limit of 6000 to max 8500, however the method is subtracting audio bitrate say if you use 320, you can do 8180 max. H264 twitch platform is outdated and unfortunately, we are at their mercy to update their platform.

When it comes to KZbin, and you own a more up to date GPU. Your GPU supports AV1 and HVEC encoding, ideally you want to use those over the pretty aged now H264. AV1 is the most up to date encoder which you want to favor. When it comes to KZbin if you right click and look at stats for nerds. We want to try to make it trigger the better "codec" which on youtube is VP09 rather than AVC1. I know to trigger VP09 almost every time is to push up to 1440p stream. VP09 is better with lots of movement and generates a bigger file size, AVC1 is fine for simple animations like 2D or so. Unfortunately, I don't have feedback for FB as I never touched it or was interested in that audience.

Also using slobs its similar as the base of the code is always we can say "borrowed" from OBS studio the people who actually code and develop for OBS. OBS has always been open to the public. Slobs happen to take the platform and stamped a ton of other crap of their own over it. I checked your channel. You're streaming from your phone it seems? So we have to take in now your putting all the work into the phone and requiring the wifi connection to be able to hold the stream. Ideally you have the numbers to hold a decent stream, now you have to consider your hardware.

yeah unfortunately it sounds like you are limited by the servers and Twitch doesn't allow the massive bitrate that KZbin allows and updated encoding like H265/HVEC and AV1

I can run a test to show the metrics too since you inquired about it. Ideally it’s game capture > windows capture > display capture.

Hi there, couple of questions, what is your gpu?, what platform are you streaming on? And a site like twitch has a cap on bitrate, which you can hit ignore and push a bit more bitrate. I checked your KZbin channel you got videos from years ago and one short from 2022. What’s your platform?

Most people prefer display, hence why I showed stats of what your rig is doing, stating that there is a difference in what things demand, I did choose Fortnite at the time because it did update to the unreal engine 5 which I figure would tax a bit more than some other games. If you have a nice pc then there’s nothing to worry about and do your thing you know? Those certain people with vram bottlenecks and say doing a lot with their obs, effects, overlays etc will use more power to render. Most of the time when I have community members who are encountering issues are usually 3070 users.

You have a better rig than a good amount of folks. Definitely real nice cpu. I'm rockin the 5900x cpu. I know some people have issues, I'm not sure if they are not running admin or not which you should be doing so. I believe some folks aren't running admin, do encounter lag with game capture or so, but whatever works for you run it. You have the power to do whatever you want along with obs based on your settings. You have the vram to clear any potential bottleneck for now until gaming gets more demanding. I am speaking from being a single pc user for most of the streaming I have done to now dual pc. I don't encounter the game capture problem as much as others. It really depends on the game. But good to know your things are smooth.@@mwb4955
