@@ericsoleas2385 thank you so much! I’m using an envelope filter, sometimes also called an autowah. It does essentially the same thing as a wah, it’s just that they are controlled a different way. A wah is controlled with the foot, but a Marty style envelope filter responds to how hard you play! I should make a video on this actually! 😃 You can find Marty using it if you search ”marty friedman autowah” on youtube.

Hey! To be honest, nothing fancy or anything that I’d remember. I use amplitube, and mess around until it sounds fine to me. There’s also an envelope filter that I use in some parts, even that is stock in amplitube I think. Sorry, but hope that helps somehow!

perhaps this is my favorite song in the whole album along with acapella, and is very nice the fact that both songs that are practically one can match with classical guitar in such a stunishing way besides the abstract meaning that both songs brings within, loved the video man

This composition by Marty is extremely beautiful and your analysis allows us to enjoy it much more than just enjoying listening to it. I was hoping to see you at the premiere of Marty's video, but I guess the scheduled time wasn't at a time when you could see it, and allow me to say that it was nice when Marty stayed chatting with us about 10 minutes after the premiere ended, he was so nice to us (the same way I remember him when I met him at a guitar clinic in the '90s).
