explanation: this Adelaide metro train was going way too fast on the grange line and the train crashed through the gates causing some of the passengers in the train to get mildly injured.

Late 60s a small posse of us mates would get the train up to Belair with our bikes. We'd then all do a mad race down the ol Belair Rd & back into the city... Downhill all the way! Yeehaa.

A Redhen train trip to Bridgewater was always a favourite thing school holiday thing to do, hopefully peering out of the front window next to the driver when I was growing up. It is a pity that expirence is no longer available, going through all the tunnels surrounded by the bush. It's a pity that there isn't a connection going through to Mt Barker to connect with Steam Ranger.
