The 7305 is a rebuild. It's always cool to catch fresh rebuilds before they to get dirty like the others in the fleet. Something else they do with the rebuilds. They swap the old K5HL horn to a much better sounding K5LA horn. ONE YOU CAN ACTUALLY HEAR. One day you will meet me there at Centerville road.

Awesome video Delmarva Railfan, and I really don't blame you for being impatient with that garbage train holding up the doublestack intermodal train with another SD70MAC rebuild leading. SD70MACs are definitely my favorite EMD locomotive, and their different sounding Nathan K5LA horns are so amazing to hear. I'm pretty happy we're now gonna have doublestack intermodal trains coming through the CSX Philadelphia Subdivision more often.💪🏻

A pair of fresh AC44C6M's were leading that train! 4849 and 4767! The 4849 was rebuilt from Dash 9-44CW #9653 and the 4767 was rebuilt from the 9670. That means they both have E bells.

Gerbers trash removal picks up the dumpster at the bar across the street from this spot on Mondays and is the only one I can get to by pedal bike. It's tough when I don't have a car to drive. Otherwise I would follow that truck around to it's stops. Plus I follow the garbage truck around the development as they pick up garbage from the housing development.

Nice catch of a late night Norfolk Southern train in Bear Delaware, and the fire trucks responding is a great additional catch before the train was coming through. I'm planning on railfanning Norfolk Southern trains in Newark, or Bear someday, but NS trains only come through the Delmarva Secondary once, or twice a week unlike the CSX Philadelphia Subdivision where it's a busy line trains coming through everyday. I'll just have to be lucky if on a certain day an NS freight train is coming through Newark, DE.

This is the beginning of the wilsmere yard along the Philadelphia sub. It's located in Elsmere Delaware. Very cool place to visit to see trains coming around the curve westbound.

Awesome catch! I got that same train at Bayview, 1853 was at Bayview and was picked up by M372 later on. Also, those Dash-8’s are being relocated for storage.
