FYI, I am 6'6" tall and I was able to sleep comfortably in an Amtrak roomette on the Texas Eagle, California Zephyr, and Coast Starlight. And the food was great.

DO NOT TAKE AMTRAK if you book an accessible room you might get bounced off you trip and stuck like I am in Denver because the accessible car pot Ty was broken. All they have for a week is coach so I can't afford a week of hotel rooms. No choice but to risk life and limb to use the bathroom. Not my idea of a nice vacation. So I'll NEVER USE AMTRAK overnite again. Never

DON'T USE AMTRAK! I'm letting everyone know. I'm a person in a power chair- I'm stuck in Denver because this stupid company can't get its accessible car bathroom to work! I paid $1400+ R/T Emeryville /Denver. First they extended my trip because they didn't have an accessible car. Hotel bills. Then I get to Denver and when I arrive to get home it's "sorry our accessible car has no bathroom." Can't board me except in a coach space. I can't get back and forth to the bathroom. That's all they have for a week! So I'm going home in a coach space with no way to pee for 32-36 hours if I don't wanna fall and hurt myself. DONT USE AMTRAK. They lie about what they're offering and don't back it up. Because of Amtrak my first experience is my LAST for this pathetic company
