What do you use to show the MPH / little track map? Sick build btw!
@ruleslawyer12 күн бұрын
Its part of the insta360 software on pc. You need the gps remote for it to show up. You can do something similar with racerender if you have another brand of camera.

Nice driving mate, good technique ... dontcha hate ending up 2nd quickest ! PS watch that oil pressure on the long right handers ! Do you run an extra quart above full?
@ruleslawyer19 күн бұрын
Thanks! I run 1qt up normally, but I also have a few mitigations to put in over the winter. I have an accusump and a new melling high pressure pump to help with the pressure loss of a oil cooler. Hopefully that'll stabilize the oil a bit higher.

Nice driving, are you running on street tyres ?
@ruleslawyer19 күн бұрын
They are Nankang ns2r. It’s a endurance focused 200tw tire. So street legal at least, but a track compound.
@shaazy20 күн бұрын
What settings did you find the best for tyre psi, throttle, and DSC?
@ruleslawyer20 күн бұрын
I usually ran about 32 psi on my re71rs. I tended to run sport plus in everything and DSC off.

@@ruleslawyer Nice. PS4S here. Im thinking of doing 30 and Sport Plusing all except throttle. Heard people say its very bity especially with DSC off!

coming out of 7 you came pretty close to the turtles be careful as they are known to eat wheels...
@ruleslawyer23 күн бұрын
Yah. I aim for the smooth strip just before them. 4 has really rough kerbing as well as 6. 1 and 7 have rumble, smooth strip and the turtles. I only overshot once on 7 and got out on the turtles. Back end got a little loose, but no big deal.

good catch at 24 sec time stamp... the windy city courses are always small car friendly as evidenced by the fact that you did the whole course in first gear which means lots of torque multiplication, so easy to spin out further exemplifying how nice that catch was.
@ruleslawyerАй бұрын
Yah, you can't really see it in the video, but any time I'm not in a steady state corner, I'm managing wheel spin on the rear. Its very lively to drive in first, but 2nd I'd be out of the power band.

Really nice, did you radio delete?
@ruleslawyer2 ай бұрын
Yes, but not actually a delete. Its an Atoto s8 android radio. Just doubles as extra gauges on the track. Otherwise it plays music, does carplay, maps, etc. It is lighter than the old CD change though...

amazing lap... are you going through 1 and 2 in 2nd gear and then upshifting to 3rd going into 3? do you need to go into 4th before 4?
@ruleslawyer2 ай бұрын
Coming into 1 I'm I usually top of 3rd or just shifting into 4th. Brake at the pit exit, down shift into 2nd and hold that through 2. I get into 3rd right at 3 Sometime before the apex, sometimes after. I'm just about winding out 3rd by 4. Right now I don't need to brake and can just let off and turn in then get on the throttle again at the apex.

It is an autoblip www.auto-blip.com/ not quite OEM auto revmatch, but it makes it a lot easier to concentrate on braking. You can see the control panel at the bottom of my center console.

Hello and thanks for the video, please can you tell me what is wrong with the flickering of the screen that says banggood ?, I can buy the glasses without problem ?, thanks .
@ruleslawyer5 жыл бұрын
The flickering is just radio interference, it happens with all FPV goggles DVR. A lot of the FPV videos you see are recorded by an on-board gopro which doesn't have to transmit anything, so no flickering. This is what you see in the goggles, though it records at a slightly lower resolution than what you actually see.
@juanrodriguez31655 жыл бұрын
@@ruleslawyer Sorry, I do not explain well, I assumed that you bought it in banggood and in the description of the ad it says that it comes with this factory problem and that they are solving it and I asked if they had solved it, thanks and sorry for the inconvenience .
@ruleslawyer5 жыл бұрын
@@juanrodriguez3165 Oh okay. I didn't notice any flicker other than the normal transmission issues.
