I own a 1901 manufactured 1987. I just had some FTF, light hits on primer. Never had this problem since owning the gun. Purchased it in the 1990's. Shooting it frequently. I was looking at Numrich for a firing pin spring. I figured after 123 years, the spring had collapsed...!!! Ha... Anyway, watching your video I discovered there is no FP conventional spring. Only that little tiny spring that rocks the "firing pin lock". My gun of earlier manufacture does not utilize that spring.!!! My firing pin lock has a built in leaf spring to rock it back up. Everything appears to be normal in my gun. It was just filthy... Never was dismantled to clean it. So I figured all the crud was hindering the mechanism that blocks the firing pin??? I got it done with the help of your video!!! Thank you sir!!!
