I screwed up on something I said on the interview. To move from Miscellaneous to full AKC recognition, you need 300 dogs in the FSS database with a 3 generation pedigree. You also need a minimum of 20 litters born within a 5 year period. I think I said a minimum of 300 pups born within 5 years. I mixed up the two requirements. Sorry for the confusion.

Would love to see a follow-up episode to hear about Chompy's progress. What incredible patience from these two.

We're thinking of having Eric and Terry on the show. Believe me. I backed off when I handed Eric and Terry their bottles of water. That dog was fierce!

Chompy was adopted! He really became a great dog thanks to Eric. I just spoke with his new owner and he is doing fantastic.

Congratulations Brian and Glenn on the 100th episode of Fur, Fins and Feathers. This is quite an accomplishment! My wife and I have know Brian and Glenn for over 30 years through our mutual love of terriers. When we first started in our interest in Skye Terriers, Brian was instrumental in supporting our interest. 33 years later we are still deeply involved in preserving a breed that is now on the verge of extinction. With only 30-50 Skyes born in the United States annually, this old (heritage) breed that originated in Scotland (Isle of Skye) deserves to be saved from extinction. We hope to take you up on your invitation to appear on the show in 2023.

Have the pleasure to know Frank and Guy. Frank is by far a true ambassador of the racing pigeon sport. He helped me getting started in the sport. And until the watching this show I thought Guy was my age in his 30s how he is so mature and knowledgeable already in the sport.

Good job explaining the care of my beloved Cockers. Have never owned any other breed and have so enjoyed showing them in performance events.

It’s so much fun showing - I love showing my HHPs. CFF is a great place to get started. Super friendly people and the judges take time to work with the scared or challenging kitties.
