Since he payed up front there would not have bin any "inflation related costs" since you had the money at that price and you could have done whatever you wanted with it including making it into more money/investing which was literally how banks worked in the old days so either you should've given him money for "lendign" his money, or the price would be the same, you're making it sound like inflation made the money he'd already given you worth less

you should keep wearing, dont be a pussy and let others tell you what to do IF you know your doing nothing wrong, however if your doing something wrong (which you have not done in this case) you should take others opinions into consideration

Really like your channel. Been watching it for the past year (all episodes). I will never be a wood worker (some days I wish I could), but really enjoy watching. Love the video narration, comments, jokes and subtle implied humor. I am a South African expat out in India (for the past 9 years). Keep them coming!

@14:26 Instead of using those 1/2" plywood blocks, which you can see very easily, you probably should've used 1/2" epoxy blocks- blend in better, have to look a little harder to see? at least from a distance. or? Could you have poured 1/2" of epoxy, placed the skis then poured the rest?

Hey Cam.. stumbled on your amazing channel completely by fate.. I've gone through a couple of semi pro hobbies while still having a passion for working with my hands (resurrecting high end crashed vehicles to custom bladesmithing) in my previous working life I was a master stone mason and wanted a new medium now that I'm retired (55) What quickly popped to mind was when you were pouring the acrylic, could you MacGyver a series of massage guns around the form to agitate the air bubbles out? We did something similar (on a more industrial scale) when setting a custom cornerstone slab in its form (cut stone with a border of bronze sculptures) previously we had issues with hairline cracks or craters.. just a thought Keep up the great work, and media content!

I love how you just dumped some motor oil on it. 😂I'm down a rabbit hole of building custom-made cat socialization tools for an adoption center I work at where I help socialize cats so they can find homes. I recently realized you can take acrylic rods and melt the tips, clamp them with smooth pliers and then use a small awl to create a hole (while it's still warm) to attach stuff to it. I'm also trying to build more humane laser toys for cats with leds and hearing aid batteries (so the cat has something to attack instead of the very unsatisfying light they can never catch) and I believe I ended up on your channel while trying to research the most non-toxic acrylic pour material. I love your channel now and I'm hooked just watching you build stuff!

I’m in the service industry and it’s common for people to offer huge jobs. Then they say something like I just need this done right now what can get this done for now. Later the big job will come, almost never. I charge full price for the small job and then later discount the big job a little.

I just finished my first river table with one coat of Rubio. The epoxy still shows scratches and pigtails. I had to flatten the table with a home built sled and had to smooth it with 50 grit belt sander to start. It left marks. I couldn’t get the out with 60 grit orbital. Would nano coat fill them?
