I'm disappointed with this interpretation. One has to be very careful not to get an inflated ego and think they can just butcher a melody which was originally so rhythmic and now becomes so disjointed. Try to respect the original composition!

Ich habe eben durch reinen Zufall hier auf KZbin, die EInpielung von Claire de Lune, vom Komponisten selbst gehört. Sorry, trotz uralter Technik und nicht so perfekter Tonqualität, gefällt mir die Version von Debussy selbst besser! Obwohl ich Khatia Buniatishvili über alles schätze!

I don't like the cadence at all. The music has to have a coherent rhythm, because otherwise your mind struggles to compensate for what it means to detach yourself from the moment. This false elitism bothers me.
