@@chopsuey897 its explained “how” in the comment. What Roman was saying in 2015 are exactly the same as things he was saying in 2023. You can take a Roman line from 2015 and a Roman line from 2023 and compare them and they are the same lines. People are lying when they act like Roman magically got good recently. He has been amazing since his debut.

Since ppl are sharing My PR is 400lbs done at age 29 at 190lbs BW with safety bars and I can confirm dips helped with my max at 23 years old which was 390. I usually did 150 5x5 weighted dips after bench. I was young though. Only preworkout and KFC. I do have shorter arms and good leverage but it took me years to build my foundation. (But also I benefit personally from 10 to 20 sets of push ups @30 reps per set as a standalone workout for chest day. If you're a little under or anywhere over 200 your bench will go up I actually regret that I forgot for so long how beneficial high-volume High rep push-ups can be when used for a couple of months instead of bench press. For a month-3 or so as long as your joints are good in my experience. This is anecdotal. Scientifically building muscle mass can occur even at 3 reps even up to 30 or 40, but you must be training hard, not passively) Hopefully beginners and intermediate people will see this and consider doing push ups and rethink conventional reps. Go read the studies on building muscle too. Great vid!!
@Lagato445
@Lagato445 11 ай бұрын
thats epic bro, are you still benching big? I agree push ups helped alot, I used to do them as a home workout and do sets of 10 for 45, and if I was able to do it easy enough I'd increase it by 1 rep for each set the next workout, since I haven;t done them as often I've noticed my pushing strength but more so my endurance has gone down. I use to be able to rep 135 for 25-35 reps at the end of my workout for a burner set, now I can only get 15-20 as I fatigue much quicker

@@NovaIvy95 for sure, I actually did pull a muscle a few months ago deadlifting which made me reset everything from scratch. Deadlifting on hexagon plates they sometimes roll on you and I pulled against the moment which caused my lat muscle to pull, when I go heavy now I try and not do touch n go reps unless I'm using round plates, for the best probably since it helped me refine my technique

Hey brother man I salute you for your hard work, but be careful with your back. During squats you are supposed to keep your back straight and tighten your core. I can tell your legs are strong enough to put up that weight, but perhaps your back and abs are not. I would suggest to work on those two body parts first before you start going crazy with adding to much weight in the squat rack
@Lagato445
@Lagato445 Жыл бұрын
Thanks brother, yea I normally try to squat in the squat rack, unfortunately my gym only has one with adjustable pins, the other two I have to walk far off to be able to go low enough. I agree my back and abs seem to be my lacking point at the moment, I've been doing weighted hyper extensions and leg/knee raises for them 💪 I know when I do use a belt it helps my bracing and stability some, when I try to go for a heavy single sometimes it ends up looking better than my triple or double sets, I'm wondering if it's because of the belt
